We booked this place based on the reviews about it being where the locals go - and we weren't disappointed. Fantastic live music, prompt and friendly service and delicious food! Fish was amazing and so were the desserts.

One of the most genuine french experiences we had. The staff talks a minimum of english, but are very friendly and eager to manage the language barriers. Very good food, surrounded entirely by locals.

Booked after reading reviews on Trip Adviser and not disappointed. My wife and I ate at Quartier Rouge on a Saturday evening when it was pretty busy, mainly locals enjoying the long weekend. At first glance, Quartier Rouge appears to be mainly a bar, with...More

This is such a great discovery! A very cool bistrot, that looks like it was decorated in the 50s, with a great atmosphere, a nice playlist and good wines. The rillettes (a sort of French paté) was yummy and the baguette fresh. After having spent...More

Belleville / Pere Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père
Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local
treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery,

population here has created a little Chinatown of
Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night
by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one
