Nothing about this place blew off my socks, but damn it was good! The dinner was tasty and dessert was great. I would recommend if someone was looking for a nice place, eat here. But the price is a little above the quality. Overall, it...More

Called in for a couple of drinks on our first night in Paris as bar was round the corner from our hotel. Sat outside under the heat lamps and watched the world go buy. Really lively place, good service and reasonably priced for the centre...More

I chose this restaurant based on trip advisor ratings - and have to say: this was a real let down. The restaurant is a complete tourist trap: 90% of people around us spoke English and were clearly not living in Paris. Location is good, people...More

Friendly service, reasonably priced for most items, good food. Classic bistro fare with a twist. Fairly large portions, menus available en English and no waiting for hours.

I returned here for a third visit (annual pilgrimage for dinner and off the chart people watching) and the magret de canard is still exceptional. Friendly service, great food, fantastic location, and warm ambiance. And it's on Rue Montorgueil...need I say more? :)More

We had an excellent lunch here - great selection of dishes, and everything was really tasty. A super seared tuna salad which was nice and pink in the middle, a classic croque monsieur, and crisp skinny fries cooked with skins on for extra flavour. Excellent...More

We ate here for our first meal in Paris, and compared all of our following meals to this one...and not many stood a chance! We all had a different salad (I don't remember the specific names) and they were all equally delicious! Also, our server...More

Watching the works go by on the street corner in Paris whilst enjoying champagne, lamb and local red wine. Le Compas is the very place to do it.
