Le Poulbot Restaurant is a small family owned place in Montmartre, Paris. This is a Restaurant that I will visit at least 2 times every time I go to Paris. The place is small, but Food is exquisite and reservations is a most if you go in the summer time. Good Food with Good Prices.

Head to Montmartre for dinner, and sadly what you'll find is mediocre restaurants and other eateries offering very similar mediocre menus for unreasonable prices. This is a tourist trap district, after all. So it pays to duck down the side streets in the hope of finding something a little more interesting - which is precisely what we did on New... More

Very nice people and place. As we call it in german: "klein aber fein" that means small but good. I could say it's the secret tip for everyone around there. The plates aren't too big but they are full and delicious. Recommend 10/10

The whole Tertre square is so touristic that quality drops while price rises. This is a safe heaven. Come enjoy.

We ate here for lunch based on Trip Advisor rating. It is small and worn around the edges, which was fine. The onion soup was good and very, very hot. It was a cold, windy day so that was fine with us. My daughter and I had beef bourguignon, some of which was tender, some not. Bread was fresh. Only... More

Food was not properly heated and seemed to be very unprofessional. We should have followed our first instinct and not eaten there. The owner needs to fire the cook and the waiter and clean this place up.

A quiet corner in the centre of Montmatre offers a respite from the crowds around the central square. The food is no longer terrific, but you get a sense that couples have been enjoying cosy evenings there for centuries. Quick and friendly service with reasonable prices for the area on the plus side; but our French onion soup wasn't nearly... More

atmosphere: nice, cosy, gives the feeling to be back in old Paris. However, a lot of mould on the wals, many mousestraps near the kitchen. The wine was ok, but the food was dissapointing. Many microwave pings before our food entered.

I was so excited to find this little cutie restuarant that I was desperately peeping in trying my best to catch a glimpse of the interior. I was so blessed to find a gentleman sitting by the window and I asked immediately the opening hours and whether I need to make a reservation for the following day. The gentleman whom... More

I got the set menu (only about 19 euros) and was very satisfied with my food. I had the French onion soup, the cassoulet, and creme caramel. The dessert wasn't really anything to write home about, but the soup was lovely and the cassoulet was divine. The interior decor is a bit shabby and but charmingly weird. The server was... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
