Small intimate restaurant. Fresh homemade food. Varied menu . Good price. Helpful attentive waitress . The restaurant is in a small back street, but within easy reach of transport and many famous sights. Don’t overlook this small gem.
We ate here on a Friday evening. Delicious foie gras, followed by pave de boeuf and chips. The beef was perfectly cooked rare , tasty but not chewy. Great atmosphere, very pleasant waitress even though under pressure. Just a lovely experience in what might be...regarded as a backstreet bistro. Would certainly recommend to friends. I must give a warning on the size of their pastis as an aperitif , too large to drink, ha ha but managed itMore
This is our last meal in Paris, turns out to be the best of the week! I found this little French bistro on google map near my hotel, with very good reviews. Waitress is very friendly with a lovely smile. We ordered two kinds of...dish, duck and beef with fresh fries, and fried prawns with rice. The rice is marinated with a kind of creamy cheese, my son can’t stop eating it. Both beef and duck is tender and tasty. After paying the bill, waiter bought us a surprising desert, lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. So yummy we finish it instantly. Will definitely recommend to friends, and come back in future.More
Wonderful experience to say the least! They definitely cater to those of different countries! We are from America and it’s my first time! They were very accommodating and I tried their great selection of wine!! The food was impeccable! I am definitely coming back before...leaving Paris!More

I spent an exellent evening. until a group of 12 people arrives exited, he tells the waiter that...he has a reservation for 7 people but that they will be 12. the waiter gently resent them and tells them that for the group it will be necessary to wait 20 minutes. the group person furious and gone on the field. the waiter very professional to keep are calm and assured a magnificent service with his customers. well doneMore
I booked a table for seven people by email using their own website. When we arrived I was told there was no booking and no way they could fit us in. When I showed them the email confirmation with all their details on they denied...it was them and claimed it was a computer error. I don't mind mistakes being made but at least have the decency to own up to it and apologise. The waiter was just rude, arrogant and dismissive. It may have been a blessing as the atmosphere in HUGO was non existent and we found a great place up the road.More
Food long gone off and taste horrible! Both the duck breast and the beef was not suited for human consumption. We have sent back thr food acter the 1st bite and the waiter knew it was already bad yet put it on the bill! Horrible...attitude and bad service from the owner! AVOID AT ALL COST!More

The service was friendly and efficient. The food was traditional but with a fresh twist and delicious. Enjoyed the meal and would definitely return for another meal the next time we are in Paris. Thank you!
We booked to come back to Hugo after I had been here seven years ago and reviewed as unforgettable. The food, wine and service were fabulous and just as wonderful as I remembered. All very reasonably priced for two starters mains and a bottle of...wine with a lovely touch of an aperitif thrown in on top for nothing. Very impressed and will certainly be back on our next trip to Paris. Thank you again to hugo'sMore
