The market is fantastic and this place looks v French but they treat non-French speakers as if they like dog-food. Dodgy wine followed by rognons that had sat around for weeks - the neighbours burger looked good but somehow in this market you want a bit better

Wow, wow wow. Good kosher restaurants should be "good" restaurants first that happen to be kosher. Well this is true for Les Garcons Bouchers. This meat restaurant is awesome. Nothing fancy, just perfectly prepared grilled meats. We started with Frois Gras and Steak Tartare, followed by Cote de Boeuf and a "fillet" steak, both were delicious. The deserts were equally... Great food, great service, great atmosphere. A bit far from city center but it was worth the ride. If you're looking for a kosher place you will enjoy the place

Stumbled upon this restaurant as we were staying round the corner. It was full of locals when we arrived, I think we were the only tourists in there, and it got busier and busier as the evening went on. We opted for the charcuterie plate to share for starter. It was massive. Lots of different kind of meats, and some... More

Our cousins brought us to this bistro - not specifically for the Kosher cooking but because it is their local and they love the atmosphere, service and quality of food. Friendly bistro with eager service and a wide-ranging menu of down-to-earth, delicious items. The food is excellent, mostly meat items. Very few fish dishes, but as the restaurant name suggests... Our friends, who are regulars, took us here and it was the perfect choice for us. Proper, old fashioned French bistro cooking, with funky decor and friendly staff. Just disappointed the foie gras wasn't on menu the night we were there. Next time....

After choosing Les Galopins almost at random, I'm glad I did. It's compact and busy (certainly at the weekend), but the food is excellent and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, albeit a bit stressed when we were there. It has the atmosphere of an un-fussy Parisien eatery where you can get some honest, tasty, real French food. Highly recommended,... This restaurant was recommended by the staff at Le Grand Hotel Francais, which is on the street next to this one. It has a small menu, but we had very enjoyable food. We both had the beef, which was cooked perfectly and with lovely potatoes to accompany. My husband had the giant profiterole (it is giant!) and I the chestnut... More
