I'm very picky when it comes to pasta. Very few restaurants have managed to impress me and especially when it comes to gnocchi al Gorgonzola. Gnocchi are always too hard / soft, or dry after 5min in your plate, and the Gorgonzola is either too creamy/milky (at best) or just of poor quality. Not here. Absolute perfection!!! Appetizers and deserts... More

Visitied this great Italian resto after a side trip to Venice. Much better Italian food in Paris! Opted for the terrace. Very attentive staff. Chose the daily special Burrata in a light lemon creme fraiche sauce. Well presented and prepared. Regular menu was substantial. Good regional Italian wine selection. Well priced Ripasso which is rare in Paris. Finished with a... More

This restaurant was down the street from our hotel, so we ended up eating here three times during the week long stay. Food was great, and the service was always very good. They do fill up early, so reservations are advised for 3 or more. We did find it fairly easy to get in for just the two of us.

Homemade pasta and truffles to die for. Make a reservation - they fill up quickly and were turning people away when we were there.

Steak was fatty and tough. Ordered 2 one worse than the other. Pizza ordered and was soft and very oily. Waiter asked about food and we said about it. Offered nothing and bill came to €75 with 3 drinks !!

Dinner was fabulous. I highly recommend this one. Some of the dishes we loved include these appetizers: Proscuitto, Avocado and shrimp salad, Buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad. Mains: tagliatelle with truffle cream, gnocchi, and pasta with eggplant and marinara. Desserts were very good too: fresh berries, tiramisu, and panna cotta with berries. Service was excellent.

Good food and quick service. We were able to walk out of the train station and get a good meal before we caught our next train.

I live in this area for three years now and this used to be my favourite restaurant. The food is very delicious yet; unfortunately, the service is equally terrible. The waiters extremely rude - always. You get there, wait in the door, nobody cares. You ask something they reply very obnoxiously. Over the past three years, they changed many waiters... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by an Italian freind leaving in Paris. The restaurant is located in St Germain area. Don’t forget to reserve, the restaurant gets packed very quickly. It was a great experience. The ambiance is chic and cosy. The manager take good care of the customers. He knows very well the habitue. The service and the... More

Our family group of six adults had such a good time and enjoyed the food here so much that we returned for our last night in Paris. We were remembered too and seated in the outside area near the front. Our waiter took outstanding care of us, making suggestions while letting us enjoy ourselves.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
