We went to this place after looking for a good place to dinner in our area on google maps. We ordered 2 different pasta meals. The pasta is not fresh. The meals were very simple but the taste was good. The price is high. Good location, bad prices, not the best food.

Our group enjoyed the many pasta and veal choices, as well as the affordable, quality wine selections. We will definitely return on our next trip, when we want a change from French food.

We have always visited Marco Polo on trips to Paris and this year we went twice. We tried the gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce, fish with lemons and haricot vert, the lasagna and the truffle Taglianetti...all were excellent and the service was also very good. Both the panna cotta and tiramisu were wonderful desserts.

Good home made french style pizza. Our waitress was very helpful and extra nice. Our food came in fair amount of time and it was good. Thank you Marco Polo.

This was our worst experience in Paris for some considerable time. The service was slow, rude and inattentive. The food was either over salted or bland - the sauce on my saltimbocca was congealed, lumps of carrot in the "special" bolognese, doughy gnocchi. We had made a reservation for a table for 2, with a pram: when we arrived they... More

I are here whilst travelling on business and the upsides to this Italian were the quick service and helpful staff and the size of the portions - all in all this is a good value restaurant. The food was ok - nothing mind blowing. My pizza was huge and covered with lots of toppings but the base was a bit... More

We ate here two years ago and were very pleased, especially with the pasta. Last month the food and service had deteriorated to standard Italian restaurant style outside of Italy, with bland dishes and nothing very exciting.

Nice food, nice atmosphere but two elderly waiters showing too much pretention, which made the evening not as pleasant as expected. What a pity

We ate their twice once of Lunch and once for dinner. There are so many options in this area, so reason we returned, Staff were polite and welcoming. It has a great area to sit outside and take it all in. Location is excellent. Food and wine was consistent, tasty and many good options for me. Pasta, Calamari, Veal. Nice... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères.
