The location would be difficult to surpass. Busy, with most of the clientele (in February) being French. Traditional food well done. Lovely omelettes and specials. Croques looked ordinary, however. Friendly service and reasonably priced. We've been several times over the years and have always been...More

I have spent many hours in this friendly cafe over many years. Always the best food and service. Quite busy during tourist season, but a wonderful place for people watching.

Try the lunchtime 'formule' - dish of the day from a choice of 2 dishes, meat or fish, plus a 'cafe gourmand' - 3 small, 'taster' desserts and a coffee - all for 14.50 euros in the beautiful and historic Place des Vosges in the...More

The slowest service in the world and no it does not reflect that the chef is hand creating each dish. Even the mayonnaise I asked for with the chips arrived at least 5 minutes after the meal itself. Not a place for a quick lunch...More

This is a place that was perfect for us to eat breakfast at. It was a nice and cosy little cafe, but the service was not something to brag about. They nearly didn't understand English and every time we ordered it was something that wasn't...More

Unimaginative menu, with the usual suspects: steak & frites, chicken, potatoes, salad. The food is perfectly OK, and not too expensive, but the tables are tiny and crowded and the service is lackadaisical.

We stopped here after exploring The Marais on our first day. Steak w/fries for me and a steak salad for my wife. Reasonably priced wine by the glass. Great service from Linda our server and a nice place to recharge after a day of walking...More

We ate here years ago, twice during the same vacation stay. We were nearby and stopped for lunch today. I want to go back! Excellent duck dishes, I had the confit and wife had magret (duck breast in honey sauce). We both left extremely satisfied...More

It’s more walk in place. But you can try to email and explain you visiting and want guaranteed seat. I’m sure they can do that for you in advance.
