I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming Parisian restaurant and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. As soon as I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the service, which is a real asset, especially when you have a busy day.
The servers were not only efficient but also incredibly warm, creating a friendly atmosphere that added a personal touch to my meal. Their attention to detail and availability helped make the experience even more memorable.
As for the dishes, I have no complaints. The menu offers a selection of delights that will satisfy all palates. The dishes were fresh, tasty and lovingly prepared. I particularly appreciated the careful presentation

Perfect daily menu at a very reasonable price given the quality, presentation and cooking of the products offered: prawns and cauliflower cream as a starter then scallop risotto with parmesan for 30 euros well done
The service is efficient, professional and friendly.

Our service was very nice and the food came quickly. Foie gras and tartare were very tasty, but small portions for the price.
Interesting wine list, we liked the Sancerre.
Unfortunately the menu was a disappointment: pissaladière, a small portion of simple meat stew, one (!) thin slice of cheese and the dessert. Everything was tasty, but either the food was too "simple" or the portions were too small.

Massive ripoff, mediocre food at best, and a tourist trap. Came to this restaurant for our last dinner in Paris after having an amazing meal here a few years ago and could not have been more disappointed. I ordered the daily special, a duck filet, which was overcooked, dry, far too greasy, and entirely flavorless. This food is not cheap too, it was the most expensive meal I had in Paris and easily the worst. The staff didn’t do anything to make our experience any better after saying multiple times they’d “talk to the chef” and then pretend like nothing happened. It’s also worth noting that the atmosphere is awful and feels like sitting inside of a fast food restaurant (you might find a better atmosphere at your local McDonalds, and maybe some better food). Don’t waste your time or money. There’s plenty of great food in Paris, and gorgeous restaurants, this isn’t one of them.

Worst steak I have had, the vast majority of the cut was just fat. I asked for the steak medium rare and even the leaner part of the steak was chewy. I spoke to a waiter who said he would get me a replacement. I asked him for the replacement meal and he just brought out my steak which was warmed up and even more chewy. The manager spoke perfect English until there was a problem and then he seemed to struggle all of a sudden. He then said I wouldn’t be allowed a replacement meal. See photo for reference. If you are unfortunate enough to visit don’t get the steak

Very disappointed by the delivery of the dishes, whether the steak tartare or worse the Caesar salad (invisible parmesan and 25 gr of chicken). In my search, this restaurant was rated one of the best for Caesar salad!!

The place presents itself as a kind of Urban casual modern dining place, but service was not up to the job at this Price level. My Ceasar salad was pretty boring with tasteless rubber chicken and a White sauce with very little taste. My steak at 37 euros was not cooked to order, neither was it tender but did however have a decent flavour. I have had better steaks at half the price. The bearnaise was good but must have been hanging around for some time judging from the skin at the top. Fries were decent. I finished the meal with a good chocolate tarte and coffee. All in all huge disappointment with especially the steak. One of my friends was however, to be honest, very pleased with her meal. Waiters who were pushy and interrupted our conversation several times are really a no go

Considering it's in a very touristy location, Les Cocottes is very reasonably priced with great food and service. Had a very pleasant dinner where the razor clam entrée was excellent and with a very generous portion that I had rarely seen for these delicacies. The squid ink risotto was also very good. The potatoes filled with a pig trotters are good though a bit rich as one can expect. The fennel flavoured ice-cream dessert by itself makes it worth visiting this friendly and modern restaurant. Bravo à toute l'équipe!

The food was OK, the wine selection is good. But we have booked for the last slot 22:30, and we felt hushed at all times. They even closed the kitchen and started greeting farewell while we were eating. We have arrived on time and left at 23:10 (40 min for the meal), so no need at all for the hurry. I would recommend them booking only until 22:00… so customers don’t face this unpleasant experience. I came from Portugal to celebrate my birthday in Paris, chose the restaurant for a romantic evening with my husband and regretted immensely. There are many other restaurants in Paris with a better atmosphere (the place looks like an American Snack Bar), small high table, food, price and treatment. Go there only if you want to pay a lot for an average food and don’t mind being hushed.

This is an excellent and inviting restaurant near Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler. We stopped in on a Tuesday around 6pm without a reservation and were accommodated with two seats at the long bar. We love sitting at the bar, which often brings more conversation with staff and a peak into inner workings. Our food, including steak frites and cod with vegetables in a slight stew, was delicious and well-presented. The chocolate pie was decadent. The restaurant is well-managed, with experienced staff guiding and directing newer staff toward perfection. Highly recommended.

We fell in love with this place on our first trip to Paris years ago. The experience and dishes were exquisite. This was now our fourth visit to Paris and saved Les Cocottes for our final evening as a special treat. Upon immediate arrival, we spotted the remodel to the interior which now feels like a cheap sports bar vs the upscale michilan star chef restaurant it once was. I ordered the beef with bearnaise sauce as a main, the only side option was fries (no fresh vegetables). The piece of meat was grotesque and full of fat. It was near impossible to cut let alone chew. My husband ordered the fish that came with fried pasta with a piece of cheese melted on top (again, no vegetable option). We did not finish our meals and left hungry. We were very disappointed as it was clear the atmosphere, quality and menu had significantly changed from what it once was. It was not clear if the former chef, Christian Constant is still affiliated or not.

Looking for a solution near the Eiffel tower we found Les Cocottes. It was a pleasant surprise. The cuisine is modern, French I would say, and we all found the dish that made us happy, including the children.
A phone reservation will be required. Paris and Jonathan are excellent at the service.

I stumbled across this restaurant online and, as it is located in the neighborhood where I’m staying, decided to give it a try based on positive reviews.
And so now I’m here to hopefully set the record straight: this restaurant is positively terrible. I ordered lobster bisque to start, which had zero flavor (let alone lobster) and was loaded up with awful croutons and strange cheese. I ate 4 spoonfuls and hoped that it was an aberration, still optimistic about the fish special that had yet to appear. When it did come out it was this oily mess of fish served atop a massive pile of tasteless risotto. As I looked around I noticed that fellow diners also had plates before them that were swimming in grease. Particularly the steak, which seems to be a frequently ordered item.
So if you’re visiting Paris and you have a finite number of meals to eat then this restaurant is a hard pass. I spent over 50 euros and consumed exactly 4 bites of food. Bought a sandwich from the bakery on the way home,

I was tipped Les Cocottes by a French colleague. It was a good one. Les Cocottes is situated in a lively neighbourhood not too far from the Eiffel tower. The menu is rather classic, albeit the execution is a bit more modern. The same goes for the interior which is fresh with a lot of wood and high chairs.
The food was of good quality, but within expectation, pace of serving is high. Staff is very friendly and fast, and provided a good wine advise. Five stars to the staff. I thouht price - quality just in balance, a bit on the pricey side even though for Paris standards this probably will be reasonable.
I would recommend and return if I had the opportunity.

Loved this restaurant. Very chic! I would call this a French fusion restaurant. Really surprised by the negative reviews as our experience was amazing.
Food, ambience, service, wine just amazing.
If you don't like French food probably shouldn't go though not very traditional
