I ordered tempura shrimp- Udon. Price was around 20 euro. I had 1 shrimp and a lot of noodles. The noodles were OK quality, but too much compared to the tempura. The tempura itself was too oily and the vegetables were overcooked. We were seated in the basement, close to the toilet and to be honest you could smell the... More

This is another the popular place for Japanese noodles. There are always long queue outside, and they definitely have many loyal fans. The noodle ( udon noodles, not ramen ) they serve are very authentic, almost the one you can have in Japan .Dashi soup was tasty and noodles were properly done. Apart from noodles, they have side plates / dishes... More

I just came back from having a lovely lunch at Kunitoraya. We had to wait in the queue for 30 minutes, which was a bit surprising since we arrived at 14h30! But it was worth the wait. We got to sit in one of the coveted window seats, and service was pleasant, efficient and attentive. It is a tiny space,... More

It's small, generally with an alarming amount of people queuing outside the small entrance. The udon is made in the premise and it's amazingly good. There's an upscale brother restaurant just a street away which is more a proper lunch/dining place. The simple food like the beef udon is good.

I went here with a friend of mine who is a regular to this place. I ordered tempura-udon (12-13EUR). It was a bit disppointing as they only put ONE shrimp tempura for the whole bowl of udon but the noodle was really chewy" in a pleasant way and I enjoyed the broth as well. I will definitely go back for... More

It would be difficult to find udon this good in Japan itself. Avoid peak hours and get a seat at the counter upstairs where the action is. The tempura is freshly made every order, and I don't think you can find better in all of Paris. The lunch deal is excellent value.

You can't miss this place on Rue Saint Anne; it's the one with the very long line. We got there early and did not have to wait too long. The staff was friendly, the price was right, and the noodles delicious. One of my favorite pictures from our Paris trip is my wife with her head almost in the bowl... More

Went here after good positive reviews from tripadvisor. I was greeted by a queue of around 20-30mins at around 7.30pm on a Tuesday evening. As we slowly got to the front, we were asked to go down to be seated. It certainly is a small restaurant and not much room if you have any luguage/shopping or prams with you. We... More

When ever I visit Paris, I never leave without visiting Kunitoraya. It's as good as the udon you get from its native Shikoku island where I happen to be born. It's a really casual dining affair, but you can get the noodles in so many different guises and the set lunch menu is tasty and great value. I am more... More

I had been here before back in 2009, and remembered it. It reminds me of Ichiban Boshi in Sydney in terms of the Udon. I always have Tanuki Udon because I love it, so I had it here as well. It was great as usual. There's nothing more to say other than I will be back when I come to... More
