I ate hear and the food was below home cook quality. The price was average by Paris standards but if you want value for money look elsewhere.

I ate twice at this restaurant with my good friend. I had you go back because the Big salad we ordered was so yummy It consisted of lettuce, gravy ... Yes gravy , tomato, cheese, liver kidney bacon and a piece of bread.and a fried egg ....and so cheap The restaurant is casual dining and nothing fancy to look at... More

This is the second visit to this restaurant . My wife and I are good food lovers and we visit Chex Gladinez in Saint Germain because it was one on Antony Bourdain recommendation in one of his tv programs. I took salad with potatos, ham, tomatoes..Potatoes were so salty that I put all of them out from my plate. Good choice of beers. I heard a lot of times about this restaurant and I was a bit disapointed..and I don't think so that I will be back to find it different.. Sorry too many restaurants in Paris

We went here because my daughters French professor recommended it to her. The food is not refined, but it is delicious. Servings are huge. We had veal with ham and cheese, smothered in a thick creamy sauce with mushrooms. The meat was placed on top of wonderfully soft and browned potatoes, with bits of more ham and sauce. We also... we specifically sought this place out as I've read from previous reviews that it's quite affordable given it's in the heart of the city. We were glad we visited it. The food is just nice and portion is generous and my friend and i had lots of fun hanging out here. Will recommend to anyone wanting affordable eats in this... More

We stumbled across Gladines for lunch. Quirky, diner-ish interior, friendly staff and specialising in basque food. We thoroughly enjoyed lunch, which was well priced and they were surprisingly accommodating of small kids. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

This is not one of the best restaurants in Paris, actually this is the best restaurant in Paris, they are serving the french food in a very special way. The place is cozy, warm & has a great atmosphere, the staff are very very friendly there. The food is delicious, I tried pavé de canard sauce roquefort (canar bird breast... More

With all the nice raves, we got curious to try Chez Gladines. We came for late lunch at around 230pm, imagine that, the place was still packed! We were lucky to get an instant table for two, and service is awesome. I felt so much at home. We ordered appetizers and 2 mains. They did not disappoint one bit. From... More

We both had piperade. We wondered if we should have had a starter or some sides, but we would never have managed to eat them. The piperade was plentiful and delicious. Good selection of draught beers too: we had St Landelin but there was a Basque one also. My wife had a cafe gourmand to finish. I had a mirabelle... More
