My husband and I love this restaurant. The food is good, the decor eccentric and the service friendly. It is wonderful to be able to go back time and time again and nothing has changed (apart from the specials) - love it!

I like this place very much. Its not a luxury place but people in here are very nice even if im a foreigner. The old lady and the one who works at the kitchen remind me of french movie. They were like movie actress to me. The glass of wine was good the food was good. I think im eating... More

Just by accident - walking back towards our hotel - we stumbled onto this quaint, retro-looking brasserie. We didn't expect much, but were nicley surprised by the friendly attitude of the owner and the food prepared by her daughter. Basic, but good, local cuisine served with a smile ! The place is small and you are surrounded by all things... More

Simple, authentic, traditional, quality French food in a unique old bistro atmosphere. Only a few tiny tables, the mom, the daughter, and the puppy. Highly recommended.

The place is full of things, especially cat figures and pictures which could be fun... But the place and food become more strange than authentic. The duck was good, the beef not so good... The potatoes were terrible: frozen and then heated in the microwave. A shame!

Hélène and her daughter welcome you like at home. They prepare home made delicious cooking with a family ambiance. A tiny restaurant but cosy. Not suitable if you are in a rush as everything is freshly made.

Small. cosy, authentic. Serving good quality traditional French food, and with a decent wine list. Recommended.

This a wonderful find by my husband based on tripadvisor reviews. We went early - when the restaurant opened for dinner - and we had the place to ourselves. The owner does not speak a lot of English but some of her staff does. She is able to make great recommendations nonetheless. The food and the wine was outstanding. I... More

My dad took me to Paris for a surprise 30th birthday weekend. Our first stop was this quaint cafe. I fell in love with it, food was beautiful, service was fantastic, can't wait to visit again!

The food was good and for the lunch menu it was really good value. It was a small shop, and we weren't expecting much. However the food is really nice, simple and nice. We were walking near that area and decided to give it a go, and we never regretted it.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
