Dropped in for pre dinner drink and was taken by the charm of the place. Oozed Frenchness. Great wine and a knowledgeable host and not expensive. Very busy with the crowd overflowing into the street.

We stopped in for the recommended oysters - didn't realize that they are only offered from September through April. In lieu, we ordered their grand plat of charcuterie and cheeses. Unfortunately, it was the worst dish we had during our entire trip to Paris. Cheese...More

Loved this place so much. The wine is great and really cheap, but the best of all is that you don’t feel like you’re in a tourist trap. It’s really quiet and great to just sit down and have some great wine. They sell tapas...More

A huge range of wines by the glass, lovely terrines and pates, cheeses and seafood. Really friendly staff. What more can you want from a place? I'm sure lots of tourists visit but it seems to cope superbly and maintain its essential character

If you want to taste a great selection of regional wines at honest prices in a very atmospheric and truly “local” bar, do not miss out on this great experience.

Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise
lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and
impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small
parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy
Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois
de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on
its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to
this calming neighborhood where real Parisians make
