For such beautiful food, and it is, it is such a shame that it is delivered in such a dismissive manner. Little to no explanation of the dish as it is slid onto your table amongst the dishes from the previous course. It has the feel of a fast food high end restaurant, where table turn over is of the... Look up Chef Inaki at Le Chateaubriand and you will quickly understand that he is one of the up and coming stars of the Paris food scene. Not the old stuffy one, in all respect, but the new one. At the same time his food is uncomplicated, refreshing and just really really tasty! Nice bistro atmosphere, full house, we were... More

We were very excited to go as it was recommended to us by a local and the reviews were great. We ordered the 9-course set menu with the wine pairing. The waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable, and were able to tweak the menu a bit as my husband doesn't eat seafood. The menu started off with cheese puffs. Seriously?!... More

We went in for my grandfathers 63 birthday. It's his first time back to France since he was 15, so it was a special night. I decided to book this nice place due to he reviews I read. We arrived and service was great. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. We ordered the wine package with the tasting menu. 75% of... More

My wife and I went there for our honeymoon and it is well worth a visit. They only have one menu and we had the accompanying wine menu. The menu consisted of 4 different snacks which where all really delicious. Then we had a gazpacho which was very nice. After that we had a fish dish that we were actually... More

Chef Inaki Aizpitarte is on the forefront of innovative cuisine. Very few, if any, chef are as creative. His fixed menu started with 4 amuse bouche followed by two fish and one meat course. Then, his salad caprese was mozzarella, olive oil sorbet, basil sorbet and green tomato sorbet. His cuisine is daring and appears to be slightly nuts until... More

We loved our dinner at Le Chateaubriand. The restaurant is not at all what you'd expect from the top 24th restaurant in the world. The restaurant itself could be easily missed from the road, with its super unassuming facade. The inside feels like a typical french bistro. No white tablecloths. It's not reverently quiet like other haute cuisine establishments. On... More

I was next door at their sister restaurant called Le Dauphin that serves tapas. The friendly bartender went to get the reservation iPad at Le Chateaubriand and made me a reservation for dinner a few days later. I had a comfortable seat at the bar (bar stools have a back) and the windows were open so nice fresh air at... More
