5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Me and my girlfriend decided to try out one of the many michelin restaurants in paris. Found this one on a site with the top50 restaurants in the world (Le Chateaubriand was placed around 70th place). I find it very very weird how long the rankings on tripadvisor is, but the food was really good. 9 courses i think, with... More

Loved this restaurant. We had a 10 course meal and every course was just getting better and better. We had a wonderful time at this place. You need reservations. Wine options are great too.

We were very excited to try out this restaurant after watching Anthony Bourdain's Paris lay over episode. Their set dinner menu changes everyday, so you won't know what you'll eat there until you get there. It was a good value 6 course meal with fresh seasonal ingredients. Our favorite dish was the lamb sweetbread and the final surprise dessert. And... More

Snobbish staff, barely capable of explaining what's in your plate. Constantly roaming around you until you finish your dish. The mise en bouche as well as the main dishes where bland, surely not creative for a place that pretends being avant-garde and experimental, what a joke. It is outrageous to pay 70 euros, wine not included, for such a ridiculously... More

This restaurant is a relaxed and wonderful example of contemporary French cuisine. It would suit foodies who enjoy immersing themselves in local food sourced with integrity and cooked with style and elan. Many French eat here and it helps to know some French .

Reasonably priced for a delicious and fun Michelin-star quality fixed price menu in an unpretentious (but still stylish) atmosphere with a friendly staff. I particularly enjoyed a tuna tartare course from a while back. Also, the candied egg dessert was very innovative and fun.

Fabulous, creative, delicious. 70 euros for a set menu at a splurge restaurant is a bargain in Paris. My son has unusual allergies and the restaurant not only asked about it upfront, but effortlessly accommodated him with substitutes and slight changes to each dish that didn't sacrifice quality or taste. It takes pure genius to modify on the spot like... More

The set dinner is 65euros and the setting is a bistro with cramp table layout. The restaurant is always packed and there are some guests who wait for a table on the 2nd or 3rd turn. Most staff speak English as there is a large tourist crowd since this was a top rated restaurant at a affordable pricing. I hope... More

We went for dinner on our first night in Paris. I had organised a booking online. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and we decided to have the tasting menu with matching wine so that all decisions were taken out of our hands! Every course was beautifully presented and tasted delightful and the paired wine pulled it all together. A... More

Le Chateaubriand is a wonderful mix of relaxed atmosphere, bistro setting, great service and wonderful food! What more could one want for? The restaurant offers a prix fix menu, and if I'm not mistaken, the menu changes daily. For people like ourselves, who love everything and have no allergies - it's a great way to experience new and exciting flavours.... More
