If you visit Paris you definitely have to visit Le Refuge des Fondus it's a great place. It's so small and cozy so they sit you with the people which is good because you make good friends. We had the meats instead of the cheese...and it was so so good. You pay about 50 euros per couple and they give you a little red wine cup which is pretty good and a baby bottle of wine yeah in a baby bottle which is very funny and the fondue it could be cheese or meat and also a starteir plate with snacks. Our experience was excellent and the service was perfect.More

Great place to stop while exploring around Sacré-Cœur. Fun with a group of people. Fondue with some wine served from baby bottles.

It’s a great laugh. Totally recommend it. Been there for 25-30 years. I bet it has some tales to tell. If you like fondue and a good atmosphere it’s a perfect place to go. Wine in babies bottles is novel and fun. It shouldn’t get...any bad reviews - it’s exactly what it says it is. If you want super food go and pay 10 times the price at the Michelin starred place up the road.More

While not for everyone, my partner and I loved this quaint little fondue place. We personally got the meat fondue but the cheese looked awesome as well. It's a very small seating area so you're very close to other tables and someone will have to...climb over the table to get the their seat but that all just added to the experience for us. The table next to us were Americans (we're Scottish and Irish) and we were all very chatty. It was a fantastic night and we will definitely visit again the next time we're in Paris!More

Had a really enjoyable experience here. Don't expect anything fancy for this place though--a more cool hipster vibe. Everyone seemed under 30 here. A good mix of locals and tourists. For 25 euro you get a really nice fondue, some small antipasti, bread, dessert and...wine. We got a table by the door but you need to book here as it is tiny! So many people came in trying to get a table and were disappointed. No menus but does fondue need explaining?More

Le Refuge des Fondues does not list prices or their menu anywhere within the restaurant. They don't even bring menus when you sit down. Additionally, they charge extra for additional wine even though they advertise one basic price for both wine and fondue, they actually...charge extra for refills which they do on their own. Overall, they take advantage of tourists and at the end, they don't provide a receipt, instead they simply write the total on the table with no way of verifying whether or not it is accurate. The baby bottles is a cute idea, but this restaurant is honestly NOT worth it, especially considering everyone felt nauseous from the fondue the next day.More

Super fun place, known on social media for serving wine in baby bottles. The place is super small, so if you don't want to wait, get here right at 7pm, when they open (you can also make a reservation by phone). They greet you with...kir, white wine and blackcurrant syrup in a sugar-rimmed glass, and then it's a set menu: baby bottle of red or white wine, plate of appetizers, cheese or meat fondue, and a dessert for 23 euros. (People have written about this online as well, they don't really show you a menu with any prices there.) If you're there with someone else and you share the fondue, it's still the same price, but you can go with a larger group so you can try both types of fondue at your table. You can also order other drinks as well as soda, juice, etc in the baby bottle. We got the white wine and cheese fondue and then our dessert was a floating island (meringue with custard sauce). Meat fondue, not as well known, is beef that they marinate in spices, which you then cook in hot oil and eat with a variety of sauces. The cheese was pretty good (not the best ever, but still made it worth sitting through such a hot meal in the middle of summer). The restaurants are so small, to get to the seats on the inside of the table, you have to climb over; you're also close enough to other groups that it seems like a communal table. So don't come for a private dinner, come and make conversation and enjoy the meal with those around you!More

Starts with a Kir which was the best part of the meal. Food is mediocre. Wine is mediocre. You will leave smelling like grease. One or more of you, depending on the size of your group, will have to climb OVER the table to sit.

After an amazing day in a wonderful city with magical moments ended up with an Fondue that I will not soon forget. I am sad and not a proud French citizen. A country with the best “wine and cheese” in the world offering are valuable...tourists the worst there is on the market. Lack of respect!!! Make me so sad to think of my many amazing moments in foreign countries, be met with a warm smile and only the best the country has to offer! Hygiene - Poor Value for money - Poor Service - Average Quality of food - Poor Do not let a “feeding bottle” trick you and avoid my mistake! Enjoy this awesome City!More

They serve hot oil and meat as a fondue. I imagine you take your own gluten free bread for the cheese fondue, they are so sweet there - I am sure they wouldn’t mind.
