The idea is good and the food is just OK not terrible as all people were saying. It is expensive for what it is. The service is good but you have to wait a lot to be seated.

Don't be fooled by the line, the food is below average for Paris standards and the service was very bad.

Very simple, very good. Long line outside that moved pretty fast. Fun atmosphere inside and good value for money.

I should say that the food is not bad. BUT we are taking about a place with huge reputation and one dish menu! I thought it would a legendary steak! Finally very ordinary salad with heavy dressing. Very normal steak with pesto like sauce!!!!!still surely you pay a lot, for the name rather than the food!!!

Do not get fooled by the long queue. The steak is 6 small pieces of meat not very well prepared. The sauce is oily. The fries are better at Mac Donalds and the salade is terrible. I will never eat here again. The service is also very bad. The bread that was fallen on the ground was put back on... More

Okay, this is my third visit here in as many years and I am a huge fan. The food is simple but expertly executed. The wait can be long if you go before 9pm-even after, expect to wait a bit. It might seem like you are being ignored, but know you have been seen and will be seated when they... More

If "entrecote" and French fries is what you are looking for, after some salad with walnuts, this is THE place. Located near Porte Maillot, in a street busy with other restaurants. Queue outside, as it is always full. But great late at night, come in until 11pm ! Tasty desserts too if you are still hungry after 2 servings ....

Waited about 15 minutes in line to get a table and it was worth it, believe you me😀 It was around 25€ per person and steak and fries as much as you want. The deserts looked very delicious too but after two full plates and salad i couldn't try any. Definitely coming back if i ever go to Paris again.

A "must" every time I'm in Paris. Love the tarragon sauce, the tender meat and the curt but friendly staff. A no wish you-washy, no-nonsense, no niminy-piminy place. Line up and get entertained.

So many other reviews tell what this place does, and does well, but I will tell you about our adventure waiting in line. We were in line in time for the first dinner seating, but when we reached the door one of our party of five had not arrived yet, so we had to step aside and wait in the... More
