After 2 weeks in Paris for the first time we had a fantastic dinner. Clean tasty French dish which was not oily! Price is great too. For entree + main 26.50 Euro We had Detox salad which for a 36 degree hot day was what you needed and vegetable spring roll. For main Fresh Salmon with vegetable and beef Tartare.... More

Celebrated our anniversary with a meal at this lovely French/Thai fusion restaurant in August 2016. One of a few restaurants open in Paris in August. The restaurant is located a few minutes walk from Mabillion station, down a lovely street decorated with restaurants and quaint shops. We arrived at 7.30pm to an empty restaurant, greeted by Frank who spoke great... More

My wife, son and I had dinner here twice in four days on a recent trip to Paris. As other reviewers have said, their use of herbs and spices is excellent - for example in the lamb tagine main course. Service was excellent on both evenings from Anne-Laure and Marie! The only downside was the lack (or failure) of the... More

We walked 5 mins from our hotel down this little street littered with places to eat. They all looked great and had their own charm but this stood out. Their menu was not extensive and they had a prix fix entree plat and dessert which we got. The chocolate fondant was delicious and my steak was also very good. Great... More

Quite simply one of the best value and best tasting meals I have ever had. The best Steak and fried potatoes I have ever had. Followed by the best Chocolate Fondant I have ever had. Months later and I am still talking about this meal to people. It was incredible value too for the set meal. I have paid far... More

We were walking around last week and I recognized this restaurant from reading previous good reviews, so we decided to try it. It must have been an "off" night, bc it was our least favorite restaurant. Our waiter was very nice, but not very attentive. My salmon was very fishy, and none of the other dishes were noteworthy. The service... More

Was visiting Saint Sulpice and decided to look for somewhere to grab lunch. I pulled up the tripadvisor app and scanned the first few nearby. Decided to give La Boussole a chance and was not disappointed. My French is poor but the waiter took his time explaining and simplifying everything for me to understand. He seemed to know English (as... More

After a month traveling through southern France & thoroughly enjoying the cuisine, this was a lovely surprise as it offered interesting twists on traditional French dishes. A pretty little restaurant found in the St Germaine district which was patronized by tourists & locals alike. The service was excellent & we enjoyed the French onion soup with Egyptian spices & the... More

We selected La Boussole for dinner on our first night in Paris. It is located in the the St. Germaine area. The staff was helpful and pleasant, the restaurant atmosphere was charming, and the food was well prepared with a little extra kick. It is well worth a visit when you're in Paris.

We picked this bistro late at night because we could read the menu. We started with onion soup and mini ravioli both very tasty. I had the sea bass my wife had the vegetarian couscous very flavourful. Service was not the best, they seemed to be paying a lot of attention to a birthday party group.
