Our party recently enjoyed ravioles royan and aubergine gratin. Those are two of our favourite entrees currently featured on La Jacobines menu. If you haven't tried their duck then visit just for that. This visit was magret canard, perfectly cooked and so tender. This visit...I sampled the coq au vin instead of the duck and I was very happy with that choice, as you will be if you like poultry. Good service complemented our meal.More

I came here because my Parisian friend suggested this restaurant and I‘m very happy that I tried this place. The food was excellent and the staff really friendly. It‘s a nice cosy atmosphere in the 6th Arrondissement. The pricing is very normal for Paris -or...at least for Saint Germain des Près - but you also get a good size of what you‘ve ordered that satisfies you or better said: you won’t leave this restaurant hungry! ;) I can highly recommend this place as well and I will definitely come back again. Service was excellent. French onion soup is a must have. It does get busy around dinner time but well worth the wait.

Had lunch here. Did not have reservations but they got us in right away. Lots of locals eating there. I had a salad and we had the salmon as well. Both excellent. We had the house white wine which we both thought was so smooth...and excellent we really enjoyed that French wine ! Wish we could have gone back for seconds before our trip ended but didn’t have time. We did not try desserts but they looked great . Excellent service. I would say it was mid range price for lunch. I don’t remember exact total maybe about 20 euros a plate more or less for lunch.More

At least for me, an integral part of Paris is strolling through the Left Bank, taking in the sights, sounds, smells, people, etc. We stumbled upon La Jacobine during one such walk, and it will forever be a part of our itinerary. Truly a neighborhood...place, excellent food, great service and not overly expensive - what a find!! I had the salmon, which was delectable. Be sure to check this place out.More

Lovely place, definitely worth to book a table in advance as place is quite small and it is hard to find a free table. If you want to try real French onion soup this is the place where you need to go. Lots of good...food, definitely duck in mushroom sauce number one main dish.More

This out of the way place is exquisite, and one of my favorite experiences in Paris. The food was terrific, the cozy little restaurant is so inviting, but the service is what makes it truly delightful. The two servers referred to me by name the...entire evening, and they were attentive and friendly. Do yourself a favor and make the effort to go! You won't have any regrets!More

I ordered a salad, clearly telling and even writing in french to the waiters (two of them!!) that I am allergic to artichoke. I did repeat this thing several times and I have been assured my salad would have been prepared without them. Well, while...I was eating.. I found a piece of artichoke on my plate!! I was fuming and I called the waiter, who-instead of apologising-starts blaming the chef in the kitchen. Obviously, they offered me to prepare another salad and they did not make me pay that one. They also did not charge me for the dessert.. however, it was just a case that I saw it, otherwise I would have gone to hospital and my holiday would be ruined. Food is good, but it definitely does not worth the risk!!More

My fiance and I went here after visiting the Louvre and had a great experience. They offered a lunch special combo which included an appetizer and main course for around $25 which was well worth it. The onion soup was phenomenal, escargot was good, and...the slow cooked beef stew was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The entrance is down a cool alley with a lot of other neat shops nearby which are fun to visit after a delicious lunch.More

They are very rude. Lots of tourists there and they could care less about your reservation. Trust me, they cancelled ours when we were 10 minutes late.
