For years, we have been confidently frequenting this small restaurant without pretension and we have never been disappointed.
The value for money is excellent. The food is delicious (bobun la-lot, papaya salad, among others) and hearty, the service pleasant and fast. The room is quickly filled – ransom for success – and it’s good, deserved success.

While looking for Asian restaurants in the Latin Quarter, we stumbled across Saigon d'Antan, literally right next to our hotel. We are from Seattle where Vietnamese restaurants are not uncommon, and this was an excellent experience. The restaurant is small and tight, clearly a favorite of young Parisians as it quickly filled with people having a good time. The food was quite good, we had fresh veggie spring rolls, which were as good as any we’ve had. I had a noodle, veggie and shrimp dish, which was excellent, and my wife had a veggie dish which is difficult to describe with stir fried tofu, which she found delicious. The staff spoke amazing English and were probably the most friendly waitstaff we’ve encountered in Paris. Price was quite low. Would definitely go again.

When we arrived at 8pm on Saturday evening, there was a big queue of people with no reservations ( usually a good sign). Fortunately we had reserved a table so were ushered straight in. The tables are tiny and packed in tight leaving little room to get in or out but the food was really tasty , service was quick, and it's not that expensive.

Spring rolls rather good and bo bun with pork idem but still with much more udon than pulled pork.
Given the small size of the place, we tend to serve you quickly by kindly inviting you to leave your place as soon as your coffee is enjoyed...
In short, all this makes the place correct in all respects but also without prompting to make it our favorite canteen.

Local in Saint-Germain area (5 minutes from Odéon stop). Very narrow and long and crowded, like several bistros in Paris. Quite spartan in decor, but anything but unpleasant, with open kitchen. Very young and smart waiting staff. I had booked from the restaurant site and there was no problem: we ate 5 cm. from our table neighbors, it's true, but it's rare in Paris that it's not so.
The cuisine really a discovery, delicious, without doubt the best Vietnamese where I have ever been. I had the pork dumplings (excellent) and the Loc Lac rice (great); my wife ate the basil and coconut milk boeuf, which was perhaps the best thing of all. Even a dessert - Vietnamese nougat - that we shared. With 2 Orangina we paid about 36 euros per person, which in my opinion is an adequate price.
Consider that they have great rhythms, the queue outside and few seats, so just finished you will find the bill on the table! But it is understandable and not annoying.
Really great experience.

incredible experience, for me the best Vietnamese restaurant I know, and I have tried many.
The flavors, the spices, the quality of the different cooking methods (crunchy, softer...depending on the ingredients) the taste of the rice, the fresh herbs...truly exceptional.
The sautéed beef is tender, while remaining rare, the sauces are delicate and fragrant, the rice cakes which surround the spring rolls are incredibly fine.
And it's all very generous, we can pack the leftovers if needed.
Dynamic atmosphere, elbow to elbow, a little noisy but we're not there to talk, it's so good. Even the decor is beautiful! I'm going back as soon as possible, what a discovery!

In one dinner we traveled to Saigon, remembering our stay in Vietnam. The dishes are very tasty and so plentiful that we no longer had room for dessert. The Bo la Lot (lolot leaves stuffed with ground beef, cooked on the barbecue) is the best I have eaten in France. The prices are very reasonable. I advise you to book.

We had a delicious meal here. We started with a papaya salad with shrimp and shrimp rice raviolli. The salad was super fresh. And as a main course we had a beef coconut curry, lacquered beef and Vietnamese shrimp rice. This was also very tasty. And of course Vietnamese beer. We finished with two espressos and a Nougat.
Definitely recommended to eat here, but make a reservation. Even on Thursday evening they were completely occupied.

This restaurant deserves only two stars largely because of terrible front-of-house staff. The apparently are more interested in stuffing as many people as they can into the testaurant than in customer comfort. Their attitude ruined what what would have otherwise been a meal of moderate quality.

Fantastic food at a very reasonable price. We were looking for something different in Paris and read the reviews for this Vietnamese restaurant and knew we needed to try it. The food was super fresh and each dish was a great representation of the cuisine. The steamed pork dumplings were different than others we had before and they definitely made us want to have more of these. My pork Bo Bao and my partners chicken pho were perfect for a cool weather meal. Service was welcoming and attentive and the vey steady stream of delivery orders going out the door testify to this restaurant’s popularity.

Food and service both excellent. If you want quick, affordable and tasty eats, this is a great choice. We picked this place as it had queues of locals outside. We reserved a table, but still had to wait a few minutes on the street. No matter. The food came swiftly and was lovely. Papaya salad especially good. For 3 people including beers, came to around Eur 100, which we found to be great value compared to other restaurants in the area.

We went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was tightly packed and noisy but with a friendly vibe to which the staff contributed. The food was all delicious, authentic and healthy. You could order anything on the menu and enjoy it. Good value too, €150 for a group of 6. Lots of good bars in the area for before or after.

Paris is known for excellent Vietnamese food, and this place is excellent - it stands out from the crowd. TravelDad.World brought clients here, and they thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. From the rolls, to the soups, to the main dishes - it was all excellent.

Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
