We ate here in late July and would say it's the best meal i've ever eaten. We chose the full degustation menu which was eight courses and matching wines. The food was out of this world and the sommelier was great, each wine selected was beautiful, interesting and complimented each course perfectly. When the cheese course came it took two... More

We've been to Taillevant a few times spread over many years. It never disappoints. This time we took our daughter, her boyfriend and a dear friend of ours, and it was a delight to experience their first visit with them. The food was sublime, the waitstaff complete and utter professionals while still warm and friendly. Our group said the lobster... More

every time someone asks me to name the best meal i've ever had, i come back to taillevent. it's perfect in every single way. there is not a detail that hasn't been thought of, nor is there a technique too arduous, too difficult, too delicate not to be undertaken. every single thing about this place is the best. i cannot... I've been here two times and each time the staff is so nice to me even though I am just an American girl dining alone. The food is outstanding, especially the remoulade de tourteau a l'aneth, the foie gras, the cheese tray, and the tiramisu. It's expensive but worth it for a special occasion. I promise you'll always remember it!

We dined here recently for a private business function and I really cannot recommend it highly enough. The experience from start to finish was faultless, the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and the food was delicious and so beautifully presented that just about everything had to be photographed!

There is a reason why Taillevent always is the highest rated Paris restaurant on Zagat. First there is the staff. None in Paris are friendlier, more attentive or more knowledgeable. The wine list is perhaps the most comprehensive in Paris and the prices are certainly the most reasonable for restaurants of this caliber. But the food-ah- the food is Nirvana.... More

This castle of gastronomy in Paris has long been highly rated, although it famously lost its third Michelin star a decade or so ago. We went for a much anticipated lunch. The setting was formal, ornate and beautiful. The service was unfriendly and surprising poor. The were many servers in the room at all times, but descriptions of courses and... More

Specializes in making guests feel unworthy. A very formal and stuffy place. Lunch with wine was over 300 euros and not very good. My wife's beef was inedible. Had to change my main three times to find one they still had. Paris is packed with excellent eateries , I would recommend you pass on Taillevent.

We were terribly disappointed by our meal here. Nothing really stands out as exceptional except the cheese cart. The clientele seemed to be loud Americans. Wouldn't recommend it.

It is amazing. The ambience, the service the flowers, the furniture - and oh yes, the food! I believe this is one of the best restaurants in Paris and everything is divine. It is the classic French repertoire but updated. The service is not only perfect, but also extremely friendly and good-humoured. It is a team effort so let's not... More
