Loved the cider tasting option. Although, I would NOT reccomend the Tart Tatin, it was the worst I had ever had. All the other dishes were by contrast excellent, including the other desserts. NB. my friend points out her Veal Sweetbread was pretty average. But the Apple Mousse was execptional

I knew Pomze had an apple theme. What I didn't know was the current chef's Japanese background. The ways he mixed French and Japanese culinary techniques, always keeping the apple theme in mind, are truly inspired. For example, the risotto I mentioned was the bed for roasted shrimp that had been dipped in Calvados, apple brandy. The three of us... More

If you fancy a semi-casual French dining experience with a theme, this restaurant lives up to its promises. Everything is cooked with an apple ingredient and though most are really subtle flavors, it is still very intriguing to find out how the fruit is used in the preparation. This can be perfect for intimate birthday dinners or anything for a... More

Unique theme makes for a pleasant experience. The food is fresh and made in the restaurant, the menu inventive and the service professional and efficient. Nice to see creativity in an age of sameness, so full credit for the idea, atmosphere and concept. Well executed!

A nice idea and a pleasant setting. A small restaurant where apples are one of the ingredients: for marinating, as cider, for the cakes or in any other way the fantasy of the cook prescribes. I have been there on a busy Saturday night. Probably because of the number of guests, the kitchen was not able to serve the dishes... More

They do cook, unlike those who only assemble "food". It is considered as fine dining with the price accordingly, there is excellent service. Try some unusual ingredients, it is even better.

I found this restaurant on the Crooked Compass App as it is unusual so we gave it a try. I booked by phone and asked for a private dining room as there were 10 of us. The restaurant is quite small but still has a piano upstairs so being in the private room was perfect as the music was audible... More

We stumbled across this restaurant - main dining room on the first floor. Friendly efficient staff. A really good choice on the menu with an "apple focus" which made for a memorable evening out.

They can certainly cook. The atmosphere is cosy and the service very friendly. I did not pay myself thus I have no idea what prices they have. It should be around 35-40 €

Pomze restaurant just minutes from Paris’ grands boulevards and the Place St-Augustin is all about apples. From the moment you step into the bar and sample one of the 30 ciders or the house-made Nayade cocktail (Granny Smith plus Polish vodka), you will enter a world where Eve’s fruit is the centre of the universe. The first floor restaurant, with its Haussmannian proportions, is smartly decorated in modern style – with apple-themed art -- and sectioned into intimate dining spaces. Or enjoy the ambience of the stone cellar with its cider bottle décor. Seasonally-changing dishes include pommeau-marinated wild boar terrine with apple and chestnuts, or scallop risotto with pumpkin, apple and fig chutney. Wines are served here, too, and there’s a gourmet shop so you can share the experience at home.
