place really busy, normal ambience for soup restaurant, we think is the most reasonable taste for Pho in paris. We tried to get the good taste soup.

Amazing food, hearty soup noodles, delicious desserts. Authentic Vientamese food at its best. The seating is crowded though and it's like eating in Asia. You may have to queue for it but it is well worth the wait. Don't hesitate....and get the large bowl!

This bustling restaurant was listed in our Food Lovers’ Guide to Paris, and it didn’t disappoint. We were in the area anyway, but I would have made a special trip to eat here. The queue looked daunting, but it went very quickly and we even got the outside table we had our eye on. We ordered the recommended bowl of... More

Small but authentic Vietnamese food corner. I go there for soups which are the best in town and rapidly served. Go in early as there is always a line of people wanting to get inside. Good for meat eaters only.

Excellent quality soup in the Pho. Deep fried spring rolls very traditional high quality....ordered a second plate! Crowded tables, kitchen like atmosphere. Easy walk from Place d'Italia Metro. Two of us ate well for 25euros.

I don't find the authentic taste of pho because it's not exactly the truly taste of this soup and the beef is so cooked : I ask a pho with raw meat.

The place lives up to its reputation on both a local and trip advisor level! They have a limited menu, which covers main Vietnamese dishes that you come to expect. The dishes are outstanding, quick, hefty portions, served in a traditional manner as it was intended. They have all the classic Vietnamese drinks. Expect a basic down to earth setting,... More

I went to Pho 14 for a quick lunch an my way to Tang Freres to pick up some groceries. It was packed but a table came free very quickly. I had the standard pho bo (boeuf) (petit size) and a Saigon Beer. All for 12 euros. There are also plenty of bean sprouts and greens served with it. The... More

Simple, classic, no-fuss, authentic pho. Always busy, even at odd hours in the mid-afternoon. Coming from Sydney, where there's an abundance of great authentic pho, this place finally hit the spot after travelling for weeks through Europe without it. Prices are very reasonable, a great selection of little sides and entrees which were just as authentic, and don't forget a... More

Staying in Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique

Neighborhood Profile
Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.
