Paul Chene is an excellent place to sample classic French food in a relaxing and elegant setting. The owner speaks English and makes non-French speakers comfortable. During a short stay in Paris the food was so memorable that I visited twice. The goose breast, chicken, wild hare, chocolate cake, and creme brûlée are worth the visit.

Incredible meal showcasing the best of French cuisine. The host created a welcoming environment for Americans who don't speak a word of French. The meal and experience were so good we've decided to return for a second meal before departing. Well worth the price.

Had an outstanding lunch in Paul Chene. Focus was on fresh ingredients, traditional cooking and fantastic service. Every dish was excellent ranging from the tuna mayo on toast to the baked seabass with mushroom pate in pastry. The homemade gelatos will blow your mind (seriously). Our host was knowledgable, entertaining and was about as good as they come. Our meal... More

Our family of ten dined here and had an incredible and personalized experience. The restaurant is quaint, the food is high quality and cooked to order (you could tell that not a single shortcut was taken), and the owner was so kind and hospitable. This restaurant is a family affair and has been in business for over 50 years. Here... More

Exceptional cuisine (Pan seared foie gras and lobster troubadour) delicious wine, simply outrageous cognac, and Harold is a host without compare. Don't miss this hidden gem.

We had the best dinner here last week and went back tonight for an even better experience. The Chateaubriand was amazing with the best wine reduction sauce. The crepe Suzette were the best we had. The owner even taught us how to make the perfect flambé. The orange cognac was out of this world

I had done a lot of research for Trocadéro and saw lots of places but never saw this one. Luckily, the night of the Euro 2016 finals, we were left looking for any type of food and settled on a nice pizza place that was across the street from this restaurant. While waiting, we looked at the menu and it... More
