We don't speak French, and the couple who have lovingly tended this brasserie for years don't speak English. But we do share the universal language of great French food. The wife works the front of the restaurant and goes out of her way to welcome...More

This restaurant was recommended on David Leibovitz's blog and we were fortunate to be able to visit. The Restaurant is small and run by a husband/wife team. My husband had the duck and I had the Chicken with Morels which was amazingly good. For dessert...More

I hesitate to sing the praises deserved by this restaurant. Do not want it to be crowded when we return. Owned and operated by a couple. Welcoming with the best sausage I have eaten. Feel as though in their home. Chicken w mushrooms. Was simply...More

My June 2015 review remains unrevised. The restaurant is simply unchanged, family run and truly superb. The lamb and quenelle. were remarkable. Lunch was a quiet delight.

There are so many regional restaurants in Paris, you can spend your life going from one to the next. The Jura has a very different cuisine and wine culture,. so don't miss Moissonnier. The place is small, perhaps 8 tables altogether. The owners are passionate...More

Started with escargots, continued with succulent beef dish, finished with tiramisu. All excellent. A small place reminiscent of the Paris of 40 years ago. Delightful.

This is exactly what made France famous for its food before the dreaded Michelin man was converted to invention and foams. Set in a modest room, the husband cooks and the wife serves. The cuisine is traditional and completely authentic lyonnaise and wonderfully flavoursome. I...More

Un Resto que nous visitons pendant chaque visite a Paris. Marvellous traditional food (facon Lyon et l'Est de la France). From their starters, try Saladiers Lyonnais, a huge selection of traditional pigmeat-based traditional dishes. A liitle off the beaten track, but walkable distance from Latin...More

Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life,
architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The

student bars and lively eateries while the squares are
dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined
by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin
once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which
