Although the seating was not as expected (high stool table) it was comfortable and the space full but attractive. Then followed a wonderfully delicious dinner, carefully prepared, not over the top with foams, moss or the like and presented by attentive and pleasant staff. Recommended for both quality and price.

We knew it's good and made online reservations for lunch. It is rather small place with many tiny tables. It got crowded at some point of our lunch but overall a good experience. Seafood dishes a bit on the pricey site but very tasty and well presented. I would recommended it.

We found this place by accident, strolling around the area after a trip on the Seine. It sums up how replete Paris is with really excellent restaurants all over the place. We were lucky to get a table, and the service and food were excellent. Deftly worth dropping, or booking ahead.

I chose to have dinner at Les Fables de la Fontaine because I knew I'd only leave the exhibition at the Grand Palais around 22:00 and Les Fables de la Fontaine would still be open by then. I'd a big lunch at Pierre Gagnaire in the afternoon so I wanted something light and didn't take the tasting menu. Actually I... More

This is a well located restaurant with a very interesting menu. Specialties of the chef are really very good. Only problem on a Saturday, the service was very slow.

After a week of exceptional multi course meals in Burgundy we were hoping for excellent food but not a 4 hour formal extravaganza. The Four of us opted not to have the tasting menu. We ordered a la carte which turned out to be perfect for us. This restaurant combined the right mix of casualness with the creativity and quality... More

My only regret with this restaurant was that we were flying home to Australia the next day and so could not fully appreciate it. I had the La Bourride, one of the chefs signature dishes. It was magnificent. My husband had the sea bass which was also very good. The staff were efficient and delightful. Their English was better than... More

This is about our 7th visit to Les Fables. Last year, on our yearly trip to Paris, we were unable to dine there, as their renovations were in full swing. This year we were very excited about our reservation for 8.00 p.m. as we were treating one of our good Parisienne friends. The new decor is wonderful, and the additional... More

Fables of La Fontaine took the time to embellish. To welcome the new kitchen of Julia, the room wants to be more spacious and light, thanks to its increased capacity and windows to admire the fountain of Mars from its table. On the walls are stone walls contrast with the industrial lines of windows. The decoration is in tune with the times with a solid oak furniture, handmade, art of the table uncluttered and very light tones inspired naturalness. David Bottreau to head the restaurant for ten years told the kitchen Julia SEDEFJIAN, formerly second restaurant, went head today. Together they reflected on a new kitchen, which is the new life given to the restaurant: gourmet cuisine tinged with a bistronomic generosity. They dust off the gourmet kitchen, and make accessible star, with only watchword quality and creativity. The kitchen retains its identity by selecting marine classics of the marine world, but also delicious and unknown products to the general public. The noble products such as sole, lobster, caviar are available now in suggestion, according to arrivals. Seasonal products are showcased, guaranteeing freshness preserved, and starred cuisine is reflected in specific executions, controlled, in order to rediscover and exhaling in the flavors
