located in Galerie Vivienne. We popped in for a drink and a little bite - set us back more than a full meal on average would cost but the flavors were exquisite and the wine list was really impressive. I would say it was worth the visit if you want to ignore your meal budget :)

I didn't eat here so I can only comment on their wine selection, where I did a tasting. Great selection, wonderful location. Who could ask for anything more ?

The service is understated and efficient. They offer a great selection of wines — many are poured using the Coravin wine preservation system. This allows the restaurant to offer many high-end wines by-the-glass. A wonderful opportunity for the oenophile. We enjoyed a well considered cheese and charcuterie plate: rillets, terrine, cornichon. 18,50€ which made for a very generous lunch. Once... More

WE got here on a rainy day first night in Paris, located in the back of a stunning looking store filled with wines and goodies. We opted for some wine and some meat and cheese platter. SOOO Good. I'm not a big wine person but it was good. VERY. Every Cheeses, slice of bread and cured meat was finger licking... More

While exploring the passages we found this charming venue. The outside seating in the passage is quite memorable. We were literally blown away by the wine list, both bottle and by the glass. Multiple first growths available by the glass. Even a Chateau d'Yquem was available by the glass. The champagne options by the glass were equally impressive. The interior... More

This is a great place to stop for a snack of wine and cheese and some superb Parisian bread. Elegant and great for people watching. Service was very pleasant and we dawdled and really relaxed. We were grateful that the concierge Helene Dedenon at the Intercontinental had recommend it.

The selection of French wines in this beautifully appointed shop/bar in the equally delightful Galerie Vvienne is simply magnificent. Take the option of selecting a bottle from the rack and have it served with a cheese plate. Heaven. Wine choices are from £25 to £!!! but it is an amazing experience. It closes early so you still have time for... More

Our hotel conscierge recommended this restaurant and as a consequence we were wary it might be an expensive tourist trap and so avoided it for a couple of days. However, indifferent food experiences elsewhere drove us to their door - and thank God for that. Situated at one end of a quaint shopping gallery this restaurant had a real fin... More

Very elegant wine bar that also serves great food. Quiet if you want, or you can sit out in Galerie Vivienne. The staff also speaks a smattering of English so they can help you, if you don't speak French, through the varied and interesting wine collection. A treasure of my arrondissement. Afterwards, maybe take a stroll in the nearby Jardin... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
