Simple advice - if you are in or near the 15th Arrondisement, book this lovely traditional (i.e. traditional French) restaurant. We have eaten there twice and found the food delicious, the service outstanding and the wine brilliant. Every dish we tried was a gourmet treat which reinforced our view that French cuisine is amongst the best in the world!

It was a group of us who decided to stop for lunch. Luckily enough the weather was delightful and could sit outside. Reasonably priced, food was of very decent quality and service, even not the best I've seen, it was okay (remember, this is Paris!) We enjoyed a tender beef steak with pepper sauce, home made french fries and delicious... More

For my daughter's birthday dinner we searched on TA for a suitable restaurant and Le Troquet got our vote. First impressions: pleasant bistro ambiance and friendly waiters. We had a table for four - 3 adults and an 8 year old boy. Starters were fine, especially the 'soupe de potiron et de marrons' - delicious. We'd ordered a filet mignon... More

As part of a family reunion weekend we were looking forward to what was expexted to be a warm, friendly, traditional bistro meal. Sadly it was none of the above. Biggest flaw of all, the service was terrible. We arrived at 8:15pm, orders not taken before 8:45pm, starters arrived fairly quickly, wine didn't and then the mains were not served... More

First, the menu is quite interesting! It is on blackboard written by hand. We ordered duck and fish, very delicious! The service and enviornment are also great!

The troquet does not have a Steady menu, it rather works on a daily changing menu. I did not enjoy my experience there but it wasn't due to a bad quality of food, it was more due to the fact that none of my preferred food was offered on that day. All in all its an ok restaurant if you... More

Want to see the 'real' Paris? Come to this area, we stumbled across this bar late at night after dining up the road - if we'd have known about this place then we would have come here first. We only planned to have one drink but ended up staying here the rest of the night till around 1.30am! The music... More

Enjoyed our meal very much. Had the tasting menu for 40 Euros and was well worth it. Regular menu had many interesting options too.

If you are looking for the 'real' Paris, come here for a late night, chef's menu dinner. The atmosphere, service and the food are all excellent. We celebrated my son's baptism lunch here and my vegetarian friends said it was the best meal they have had in Paris. Great price.
