We "accidentally" found this place while out walking. What a find!!!!! And no french needed as they only ask two questions- what will you drink and how do you like your steak!!! Then they come around d with seconds of the steak and fries!!!! Absolutely delicious. Save room for dessert/ we met a lovely french man who suggested the profiteroles... More

When in Paris, we always dine here in Saint Germain. The food is consistently good, and the ambiance always festive. Le Relais de I'Entrecote has a lively crowd most evenings with a fixed menu consisting of steak with frites and a green salad. The desserts are luscious! On our last visit, as we were leaving, what did our eyes see... More

very disappointed !! I choose the restaurant based on the very good reviews in trip advisor and took a party of 8 meat lovers. Expected to have an excellent Entrecote . Instead received a plate full with fries with a promise of endless refill - who wants to eat fries? A big portion of sauce and 4 small strips of... More

If you are in for a good piece of beef and fries, this is the place to have it! L'entrecote et pommes frites is a good alternative to more fancier french cuisine, especially a nice break during winter... the price at 26€ is reasonable.... service is friendly, food is ready quick!

A massive line up as a walk in can be a turn off, but this place is worth the wait. The steak was exceptional and the service impeccable. Definitely join the queue.

How do you like your steak and what would u like to drink? Those are the only two question they will ask you. This place is nice and the food is great. The salad was dressed with what tasted like Dijon mustard. It's was ok...

A very busy destination; but well worth it. Excellent and amazing food and service! The server ensured all guests got their steak and second helpings exactly cooked as desired. Much appreciated!

We came back to Paris primarily to have lunch at this place. We loved it so much the first time around. And we were not disappointed. Excellent entrecôte with their very special sauce and good fries. We also very much enjoyed the crème brûlée! The service was very nice.

Even though they only specialize in one dish, it's extremely delicious and a treat to the palate. They expertise in preparing the famous Entrecote meal is superb and I can recommend it as a great place to go in Paris

You're seated at a small table, then asked for your drink order, then asked "how you like your steak prepared?" Until time for dessert, there are no more choices! You're served a portion of wonderfully tender, perfectly cooked steak that is practically fork-tender, along with a mound of hot, crispy fried potatoes. There is a sauce on the steak that... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
