Petit Zinc is a good introduction to French food if you don't want to go off the beaten track and you are looking for ambience over innovative food. It is a very pretty place if you don't look too hard and in a great location. The food is predictable and nothing to get too excited about except the delicious 'floating... More

We had an ok diner in the "Le petit zinc". The food is ok, but on the expensive side for what you get. For me the biggest problem was that they offered me a lobster, which was offered to me 30 min earlier as well as a mistake (they forgot my starter). Which is not a problem, but don't leave... More

Located in the heart of saint germain district nearby saint germain square, the restaurant is a beautiful Art Deco place. It is basically a seafood place that will prepared on the spot amazing seafood tray with oysters, crab, shrimps, lobsters or any other shells you might dream about. Beside this option there is a rather extended menu of other options.... More

On an evening stroll around St Germain we stopped here on a whim for a glass of champagne and desert . The exterior is lovely the interior even more so. Charming maitre'd seated us quickly. Attentive waiter . We ordered the profiteroles. Excellent choice . Captivated we made a dinner reservation for the following evening. Extensive seafood menu but also... More

We had dinner in this restaurant during a stay in St Germain. This is a large, bustling restaurant in a busy tourist area. It was very crowded when we were there in late June. It is decorated in an Art Nouveau style that seems recently done . We were seated indoors but at the edge of the outside seating. Service... More

Service here was so poor we decided to walk before ordering. Sometimes there is only so many times you can flag down a waiter. We waited 20 minutes and then decided this wasn't going to be worth it. Less than 10% of the tables were occupied at this time.....now we understand why. Spotted a couple of skeletons when we passed... More

My husband and I had dinner here one night at the suggestion of a Viking River Cruise guide. We had eaten around the hotel already and wanted someplace off the beaten path that was quiet and also had good food. This place fit the bill. We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely meal with wine. The prices were very reasonable.... More

after shopping at Flamant, we stopped here for lunch. there were musicians playing and it was a perfect afternoon. Our lunch was delicious. We ordered the fixed price meal and the bill came and it was not correct. I have read that on other reviews. they "corrected the bill and it still wasn't correct. So not sure if they were... More

This place looks great, it has a wonderful art deco interior which is worth the price pf the drinks on its own. As a result when I came I expected it to be overpriced and lacklustre. However, it wasn't. The food is fery decent, hearty and tastey. It is not outstandong but there is absolutely nothing to complain abpit. Givent... More

This St-Germain des Pres landmark continues to thrive as it has done since the turn of the last century. The classic Art Nouveau brasserie style is still elegant, with ivy arches, swooping iron banisters to the mezzanine, ironwork facade, and beautifully lit glass ceiling fanlights. You'll feel as if you're having a real Parisian experience and you are, you are. The menu is classic French. Try starter of wonderful fruits de mer, main course of calves liver meuniere with caramelised salsify and broccoli, and pudding of fantastic 'Saint Germain' ice cream sundae.
