Location is amazing but as the place is full all the time, the staff is invisible and not very polite. Unable to order any food as the cook did not come to work this evening...

Lovely leafy terraces in the parc des Buttes-Chaumont and a beautiful Pavillon with restaurant. We had dinner and finished the evening with drinks on the terrace. Service is not unlike other popular places in Paris, food looks great on the menu, execution could be better. But the location makes up for it. This is a real Paris experience.

I went there for the first time on a sunday, scouting for a place to spend my birthday at with friends. It had a Boho Garden Party vibe, cocktails, rosé and music were great, but it closes early (8PM) that day of the week. I made reservations for 8 people at 8PM at their restaurant. And I just realised there's... More

A really beautiful location in the park with a dining area that is elegant without being too formal. The staff are all very friendly without being overbearing, and overall the place has a very welcoming atmosphere. The food is fresh, but the flavours could be improved. We tried the octopus and found it too rich and could not eat more... More

When I first saw the place I thought that they use the place only for private events, and then I went there and I got a table have a great dinner and at 11:00 pm they brought a DJ with nice music. The ambiance is amazing as the service is very good and all the waiters speak english perfectly and... More

We haven't eaten in the restaurant, only stopped there for a drink but this place was impressive. A very nice location in a park, the outside sitting was cosy and comfortable. I loved the idea of having big sofas/beds outdoor. I would definitely go back.

Excellent choice. This place is absolutely amazing! We had a perfect diner with a group of friends for my birthday on friday night. Located inside the Buttes Chaumont park, not to far to Botzaris metro station.... The atmosphere was lovely. Excellent service from the minute we stepped through the door. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful which is very rare... More

Perfect location but unfortunately this is one of these French Restaurants where the waiters secretly which to be invisible, by treating the guest the same. There is a very lovely garden area with a Bar, Jazz Music and lounges and if you go through the main building at the back is the dining area which should be avoided at all... More

We had cocktails here. Nice setting if the weather is good, but gets very crowded. The cocktail list is the same as sister-establishment Le Perchoir, a sort of "brand" the group is creating. But something is a bit off: they advertise the cocktails but don't have enough staff to make them properly given the number of people that are ordering... More

I went here with friends and had a great time, good music, great cocktails and the nice sharing foccacias. It is a little overpriced, but I guess you are paying for the honour of being there! Get early to find a seat in the outdoor terrace. The main negative point is the fact you have to wait by the kitchen... More

Staying in Belleville / Pere Lachaise

Neighborhood Profile
Belleville / Pere Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery, family-owned delicatessens and cafés nestle between local stores and establishments. The richness of the population here has created a little Chinatown of Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one street to another as one passes from white walled provincial homes to tall blocks and reconverted homes. The whole area is an inspirational mix of people from all corners of the world frequented by artists, students, immigrants, and Parisian families. Once home to supporters of the Paris commune, its rebellious nature is now offset by its rural charms.
