For some inexplicable reason, I chose the assiete des légumes. I say inexplicable but actually the next word in the dishes’ description was ‘glacé’. The delicious combination of butter and sugar in just the right quantities made every vegetable live its best life shortly before...they departed for my fork, lips, mouth, tongue and stomach. The addition of the pumpkin purée and the feta style cream was just genius. I would have it again and again if it didn’t require an expensive four hour one way trip. The desserts looked beautiful too. Trying to relive memories, I chose the lemon meringue tart. It was now too sweet for me but very tasty nonetheless.More
