My Grandson wanted to go to a great restaurant on his first trip to Paris so we selected Restaurant Vefour. We were not disappointed. We both ordered off the 125 Euro four course Lunch menu (with three appealing choices for appetizer, main course and dessert). We especially enjoyed the mains (he had sea bass and I monk fish). The cheeses... More

The restaurant has been open for 232 years and should be open that much longer based on my last visit. Holy moly this place is amazing. The duck ravioli was simply the best thing I have ever put on my face. Wow. It's not cheap but it will be remembered all my life.

Beautiful décor and nicely prepared food that tasted as good as it looked. A delightful lunch was enjoyed by all. Cheese cart was sublime. A lovely little niche in a quiet corner of Paris to enjoy a leisurely and delicious meal.

This was the only 2-Michelin star restaurant we visited on our trip to Paris. The place is stunning and full of history. We were very excited to dine at Le Grand Vefour because we expected to be wowed. However, we were totally disappointed. Service was professional and attentive. No issues there. The Maître’ D took time to talk to us... More

This is the most incredibly dining experience I have ever had. The chef was waiting to greet us when we arrived and welcomed us with open arms. The service was perfect from start to finish. We were there for a 3 course lunch which turned into a full degustation with all the extra amuse buches and tastings that came as... More

This is one of Paris’s best restaurants, I was so looking forward to going, I think the chef is absolutely brilliant, fantastic historical setting and amazing food. And the food really was superb……… so why 4 stars. This is a Michelin restaurant of the highest order. It took 40 minutes to get our drinks delivered, 40 minutes (no food ordered... More

The location is fantastic, nothing to say. I had been there on Friday evening for my wife's birthday. The service was good and everything was supposed to be perfect but as soon as we arrived at the hotel, my wife discovered she had a food intoxication. We had to catch the first flight back to Italy the morning after because... More

Worth the visit, it's a historic must! Food was good but nothing spectacular. Had the ravioles de foie gras, pasta tasted more like wonton dough rather than homemade fresh pasta, and under cooked, which made the edges chewy... The lobster as main dish was overcooked rendering it chewy. My husband had the sea urchins, and he really enjoyed, and as... More

The Grand Vefour experience is similar to what we enjoy at Taillevent. The difference is we always come here for lunch and Taillevent for dinner.Grand Vefour has a bit more history behind it and I think the food is a skosh more cutting edge. It is just so great to be so pampered and be the focus of their attention.... More
