A beautiful restaurant, for sure. The wait staff clearly work as a well oiled machine as the service was impeccable. We enjoyed our meal - the foie gras ravioli was easily one of the most delicious dishes I've ever had, although my main course - chicken - was a little dried out and for the price we paid, that's beyond... Le grand Vefour is for sure a one in a time experience. The ambient and the location itself is breathtaking. A place full of charme and history. The service was exceptional. The food was sensational and for a special evening in Paris, Grand Vefour is the place to go. Still probably the best Restaurant in Paris

Located in Palais Royal. Time travel to Napoleons era. The interiors are the original decor and incorporate art in the reverse side of mirrors set into panels which create a magical glow. One must be feeling transported to the early nineteenth century at this place.

Had lunch here on a beautiful September day. This restaurant, adjacent to the beautiful Jardins du Palais Royale, is unremarkable from the outside, yet absolutely gorgeous once inside and seated at your table -- bejeweled with exquisite antique mirrors, hand painted walls and woodwork, crushed velvet burgundy banquettes and frosted glass exterior windows. The service is provided by a seasoned... More

I was several times at Le Grand Véfour , it was an exceptional restaurant but not anymore ! The food was terrible , the service a shame and the price outrageously expensive for such a poor quality ! The bread was hard as a stone , the fish overcooked and the beef too salted . The sommelier forgot to pour... More

There is so much that this restaurant could improve. That's not to say it's a terrible experience, because the location, the room itself and the sense of history are special. But this is a two-star Michelin trying to get a third star back. However, the food is patchy. The starter courses of fois gras ravioli is splendid. The best dish... More

Took the family (kids in their early 20's) for lunch as it was much less expensive. The lunch lasted 2 1/2 hours. The food just kept coming and was the best restaurant experience I will probably ever have. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was unbelievable - I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to splurge.

First things first: This will be an expensive dinner; with wine, tips and a three-course à la carte meal, you are looking at €450 minimum. You will not be admitted wearing flip-flops, Tees, jeans, or anything short of formal dinner attire, so why not take the opportunity to dust off that white tux jacket and dress like Rick in 'Casablanca'?... This temple to French savoir-faire in the kitchen, the vineyard, the dining room, the architecture---only gets better and better over the years. My first time there was my Precious Mom and me, when I was 9 years old. This means that Guy Martin and his Dream Team are able to not only perpetuate but constantly nourish the dream come true...
