This restaurant is literally around the corner from the opera house so great for a spot of lunch during your walking tour of the city. We had the set menu as we didn't need much from afternoon lunch. It was really well priced at just under 25 euros for two courses without impacting the quality. You can also get deals... More

Because I look young - ( not fat & wealthy ) I was unnoticed for over 10 minutes at the entrance , where no one was at , at all. When I finally reach out to a server to take a look of a menu to see if that's something I was interested and having for my lunch experience. No... More

From the lovely table with a view to the incredible service and authentic French cuisine our experience was amazing from beginning to end. The staff are warm and inviting and their menu recommendations were perfect. Thank you so very much for the lovely anniversary dinner. We can't wait to return!

Had wonderful meal in this beautifully decorated restaurant. Food was excellent, all of our party enjoyed their meals but the lamb was a standout. Seafood platters around the restaurant loomed fantastic. Our waiter was both friendly and efficient. Absolutely recommend.

I have been there a few times, last time was several years ago. I was always impressed by the quality of fish, in particular oysters and raw shellfish. The quality hasn't changed, the service was excellent but not last night...wrong dishes and wine was served, intended to be served to other tables, and finally a bill not including the coffees... Wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this but was very pleasantly surprised. Whilst it is in a very touristy area the food and service were both very good. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal - especially the mushroom and lobster ravioli with foie gras sauce.

A lovely French cafe in the classic style. We had been walking, late on our last night in Paris, looking for another recommendation, and stumbled across this gem quite by chance. The place was a little empty, but it looked and felt just like a lovely Paris bistro. Old world charm, a lovely warm decor and very friendly wait staff.... More

Description
The restaurant's refined decor is a faithful illustration of the Art Nouveau style, with its original mosaics and its crystal Saint-Louis chandeliers a truly Parisian institution located on the Place des Ternes. The head chef prepares a refined, traditional French cuisine using the freshest ingredients. An immensely popular restaurant with both Parisians and discerning tourists, who appreciate beautifully prepared food.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
