The restaurant's refined decor is a faithful illustration of the Art Nouveau style, with its original mosaics and its crystal Saint-Louis chandeliers a truly Parisian institution located on the Place des Ternes. The head chef prepares a refined, traditional French cuisine using the freshest ingredients. An immensely popular restaurant with both Parisians and discerning tourists, who appreciate beautifully prepared food.

This is an art-deco sort of building which is beautiful inside. The waiters (both male and female) give the impression that the work is their full time career and they are well trained for it. The men wear black with white aprons and the ones...More

Was searching online for a restaurant/cafe open at 2am after being out drinking in the evening (long shot). But stumbled across this place. Had some oysters and smoked salmon blinis and was lovely. Staff were very welcoming even at that time!!

Had dinner with my business partners at Capucines. Location is very good, interieur is charming, service is friendly and mostly attentive. Food was ok, a bit pricy but due to location. Had the mussels, was a bit disappointed as it was really the absolute mini...More

Warmly welcomed despite it being an extremely busy time (13h30). The menu has everything from shellfish & seafood through to steaks and vegetarian. We ate here twice during our stay, and service was good, although the place gets pretty crowded at certain times, so be...More

Very close to the Opera Garnier and open 24/24 - an ideal choice for dinner after a performance. Great art nouveau setting. Traditional French dishes, and specialising in seafood. Very good - I will come back!

I went with friends for afternoon coffee and dessert and was pleasantly surprised to get a warm greeting at the door. This is not usually the case in Paris, and we had just walked out of another café nearby because of the rudeness of the...More

While it does look nice inside the food was outright bad and the just like any tourist oriented place it was overpriced. Wish i knew about discount for booking a table. Bouillabaisse soup was extremely bland, there were couple of tasteless overcooked pieces of fish...More

From the outside this looks like this very traditional french or rather Parisian brasserie. But this is a big one, with 2 floors and terraces full. This may be ok, but when it impacts service, it is not so OK. When you sit on the...More

I wouldn't consider there to be "a good selection". Though there are some things a vegetarian could choose on the menu, I'd recommend you find another restaurant. There are much better options nearby.

Bonjour ! No dress code , this is a tourist area ! Maybe on a Saturday evening , you would be expected to wear ''formal but casual '' as you may see people coming from the Opera in the winter !
