Each time we go to Paris, we dine at Le Clos des Gourmets. It always gets better. Last Saturday, we tried the escargots "sans pâte", as starter. They were perfect. The meat was very well prepared as well. 1st class Camembert. Very nice and attentive owner. And he has a wonderful Calva. We will be back, as usual.

This gem of a restaurant was recommended to us by a Parisian friend. It is the sort of place tourists would never find on their own even though it is blocks from the Eiffel tower. Be prepared, you will be the only non Parisian in the place, and the menu is only in French. It is elegant, yet cosy -... More

Make reservations. This is an intimate restaurant offering really lovely food, wine and service. And although we went early without reservation and got lucky, they also welcomed our dog. We had a lovely meal and beautiful bottle of wine. We had a fish dish and a chicken dish - both were very good, fresh & nicely presented. This is a... More

We had the 39 euro set menu for dinner and it was really wonderful. The portions were generous and the food was all fantastic. The service was excellent (and friendly/warm). We didn't have a reservation and they were able to accommodate us around 8 pm on a Saturday, but it definitely filled up as we dined, so make a reservation... More

We had the €39 set menu for 3 courses, it's delicious. There were 5 choices for each course, plus a few daily specials. My husband and I had enjoyed every dish served. They brought modern twist to French cuisine. I adored the lemon tart. Price is a bit little more than average, but it's worth it.

After a "huff" because we didn't order a coupe of Champagne, we preceded to order. I went first and the menu was snatched from my hands and I was told I had the lunch menu. It turned out the dinner menu was exactly the same but was prix fixe. What I wanted jumped from 12 euros to 39 euros and... More

We were recommended here by our concierge at the Marriot Rive Gauche and it was certainly a very good tip . The restaurant was full..it was I believe all locals dining , which is always a good sign , and the food was marvellous . We made a mistake in ordering one of the more expensive wines on the menu... We visited this restaurant on both of our visits to Paris, about a decade apart. The food is amazing. I do highly recommend a reservation, because they can get crowded and the host definitely looked disappointed when we said that we did not have one (on our most recent visit). The food is fresh, well prepared, and delicious. Presentation is... More

We have been dining here for the past 15 years and have never had a bad meal at this chef owned restaurant. This week we had the marinated Mackerel for en entree and my wife had the Cod and I had the Calamar. All three were wonderful, cooked perfectly and with sides to match. For desert we had a chocolate... More

this is a nice and cosy place with reasonable to very good food. The waiters and waitresses are very kind, but we were out of the restaurant in 50 minutes. We had 3 courses and a coffee, but the speed behind the service was exaggerated. we had no time to relax between the courses. Leaving the restaurant showed us quite... More
