It has been 2 years since I have eaten here last time. And because my business takes me to Paris every 2 years I try to eat in Le Caffe d'Angel at least twice in a week that I spend in Paris. So what is that I like here ? Well I could say that Deserts are fantastic - Especially... More

Was taken here by local hosts on a business trip. Had the 2 course set meal. The restaurant added a small quinoa salad as a pre-starter course. After that had the tomato, grapefruit and parmesan salad with pesto and then bream and roasted vegetables for main. All very delicious with good friendly service.

We ate here at the recommendation of Rick Steves and it was good food, welcoming atmosphere and unpretentious. We always order the menu because it usually is less expensive. We are wine snobs and enjoyed the wine the wiater selected for us.. dinner for 2 was $122.00 with a bottle of wine so that gives you the price range. the... More

Stopped by at this inviting café one evening, was graciously welcomed and seated immediately. The food was disappointing, however, and even a little weird. The appetizer was a mayonnaise, shrimp and celery salad that seemed more out of a 1950s Fanny Farmer cookbook than a Parisian restaurant. The veal main course was better with a tasty sauce. The meal declined... More

I ordered duck and libber and waiter asked me if I wanted it rare, medium or... I did not let him finish: RARE. Tough the duck and libber were great, duck was over cooked, very in fact: the meat was not even pink in the inside but brown; and I like it rare : strong dark maroon color. I left... More

The restaurant is tiny, located in a small street close to the Champs Elysées. There was a huge group of people (locals) when we arrived and we were 10 which made me expect the worst in terms of food and service. I was soooo wrong! Not only the food was excellent, absolutely delicious (and I'm usually fussy) but the service... More

The welcome is standard, no special effort, no special smile, a little bit disappointing. I was early, my friend arrived 20 minutes later, I was taken my coat and installed. We had a vegetable soup of the day (good, yet not warm enough) a daurade, on barely cooked vegetables, healthy food. Everything is nice, nicely presented, yet nothing more than... More

If you're looking for a good restaurant around the Etoile, forget the numerous fast food outlets and head down this narrow street just off Avenue Wagram for a very enjoyable and unpretentious French gastronomic experience. The waiters and waitresses are smiling, speak English and are prepared to take time to explain the various dishes on offer. The ownher/chef is in... More

Had a fabulous meal with my 2 daughters to celebrate my 70th birthday. The restaurant is small and intimate. With excellent service. The menu was small but the quality of the food could not be faulted. The chef spoke to all the dinners after their meal which makes you feel very special. Would recommend Cafe d'Angel if you want a... More

Wonderful freshly cooked amazing food, the caramel salted dessert is the best dessert we've ever had, we almost asked the chef for the recipe! Great service and wine. Small restaurant and not a huge menu but we thought this was one of the plus sides. If you're after some great French food, would definitely recommend a visit.
