My husband and our 3 daughters ate at this restaurant last year and all five of us loved it. So this year when my husband and I came to Paris again we were determined to find it. It's located on a small street, so after about an hour of circling around the Latin Quarters we finally found it! Again it... More

It was so good to get away from the busy touristy areas into a side street with this delightful, family operated restaurant serving delicious food. Dining here on our last night in Paris is a wonderful memory and I know I will be going back there on my next trip. Delicious slow cooked lamb with incredible potatoes for me, and... More

This little bistro was perfect. Tiny tiny tiny but welcoming staff and fabulous food. The potatoes gratin with that wonderful cream and butter. Shut my mouth!! So good!! We went for lunch and spent a leisurely afternoon eating and drinking. Loved it!

My husband and I went here for dinner on Saturday evening. I just don't have enough words to describe how fantastic the hosts, the bistro and the food was. The menu (which there is also an English language version) id extensive. But not with pretentious food but with amazingly cooked and prepared home comfort food. I had the chicken liver... More

We noticed this place on a side street in St. Germain des Pres and thought its menu looked interesting. Then we checked Tripadvisor and saw the great reviews. We were sold, and it turned out to be a fine eating experience! The slow-cooked lamb is generously portioned and delicious, and the sausage Lyonnaise is delectable too. The place is tiny,... More

Table for four for supper. We arrived at 7:00pm because we did not have a reservation. We were quickly seated inside. The restaurant is small with a small kitchen with excellent chefs. The chicken terrine as superb. Followed with sausage from Lyon and potatoes. The staff speak English and are very attentive and courteous. Desserts: try the Creme Brûlée. Prices... More

Ate here last year and was very happy to return. Same family team running the restaurant and still superb bistro environment and food. Only a small restaurant but seemed to accommodate everyone but I would certainly book when I return. One of my must eat places in Paris

My father thought he had visited this restaurant some years ago and thought it was rather specially then. He suggested we tried it on our recent visit to Paris. It is a very tiny well run place. The food was well presented and delicious. There were a lot of Americans there - clearly following the recommendations of their fellow travellers.... More

French fare, that caters to mostly French locals. We had a reservation problem (our fault); but, our group of five was still seated in a busy restaurant. Service was excellent and friendly. Food was very good; and solidly "French". The hit at our table was the house specialty - boeuf bourguignon. The sauce is incredibly rich, deep and flavorful. Definitely... More

Intimate local restaurant. Would be a hit in Miami. Phenomenal food. Large portions. Chateaubriand to due for! Great service by what appears to be a husband and wife duo. If I lived in Paris, this would be one of my regular spots

Thank Luis A

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
