When Henri is full for dinner, I go to the Machon just next. Same recipes, and the best beef stew I know for years, not only in Paris. I love my beef stew with rice, like in Japan. But the duck confit #confitdecanard is back...More

We really enjoyed this small bistrot. The server was very friendly and helpful. The menu was in English but we needed her to translate the daily specials which she did happily. I had the beef and my husband had the veal and both were outstanding....More

This place was recommended by a coworker. The restaurant is small. I would recommend a reservation. We were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation and only had to wait 20 minutes. The beef bourguignon was so good! We finished with creme brûlée

Although we had no reservation, we were warmly greeted and seated. Service was friendly and professional. Nice bistro ambiance. The salade d'endives and boeuf bourguignon was absolutely delicious. Menus are in French and English.

A beautiful, traditional bistrot, serving excellently prepared traditional French food. Staff were very pleasant and helpful (contrary to the popular belief about French waiters, which was proved wrong throughout our visit). Place is very small, so I would advise booking for an evening meal. The...More

A great small restaurant near Saint Sulpice church. Menus in English available. Superb hearty beef stew, slow cooked lamb, chicken kabobs, and terrific escargot in garlic butter sauce. Don’t hesitate to sop up the sauce with their great crusty breads. Plenty of desserts to choose...More

ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the
oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
