Dinner flew by in four hours...we didn't intend that it would go this long, it was just that we were having such a marvelous time. Very large portions (especially the Foie Gras). Duck was excellent (make sure you ask for medium-to-medium rare or you will...More

A bit past her prime but still without peer. This is the epitome of old-world dining. You will spend an awe-inspiring sum of money in exchange for impeccable service and the best foie gras and duck you will ever have. The other dishes are serviceable...More

This was our second meal at this restaurant. It was a little too formal and subdued downstairs for my taste.Almost like being in a doctor's waiting room.I do not know why they persist with this out-dated practice. But upstairs the atmosphere relaxed !A wonderful meal...More

That's a wonderful place with great history. Yes, it is VERY expensive. However, both food and wine were simply fantastic. It was surely the best duck we've ever tried, and we do like this bird. Actually all tables have great view at Cite island.
