We have been coming to La Grande Cascade for decades, particularly when wanting to offer a memorable and off the beaten path experience to people less familiar with Paris. It is too easy to go to the Pré Catalan, more famous and celebrated than the elegant and less well known Grande Cascade down the Allée a bit in the Bois... More

The food was ok, only dessert was amazing. What surprise me was the environment and service, there were several flying insect bothering us during the meal. One fly even " swim " in my champagne glass. I shown the glass to the waiter and ask them to be careful about it. This should not happen in a 3 star restaurant.... More

Our experience was really amazing,we couldn't fault a thing! I visited here with my partner for a birthday meal, the restaurant is quite expensive so we made it the centrepiece of our trip to Paris, but trust me you get what you pay for! Food was amazing! Every dish was finished to perfection beautifully presented. The restaurant itself was immaculate,everything... More

The service could not have been better. The wait staff were so professional, and very accommodating to my attempts to speak French. The food was exceptional. They also had all the lovely touches such as complimentary initial bite, followed by a complimentary amuse bouche, bread, our meals and a final bite given on the house. We booked using the online... With friends, a beautiful evening with outstanding food and impeccable service. A glass of Champagne each, a bottle of white and two bottles of red for the four of us led to a 1300 euro evening. Thank goodness the sommelier suggested a less expensive red that was excellent and 100 euros less than the one I would have chosen. A... More

It was a very special evening for me, and everything about this restaurant was absolutely perfect. There is one thing that I will never forget though, and that is the taste of the brioche feuilletee!

Description
La Grande Cascade is a gourmet restaurant located in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne. For a romantic dinner in winter or an alfresco lunch on a sunny day in summer, La Grande Cascade is the perfect rendezvous for anyone who loves fine dining and beautiful scenery in Paris. Yet La Grande Cascade has not always been a restaurant, and this explains its unusual and truly exceptional decor.

It was originally a lodge where Napoleon III, who came to the Bois de Boulogne to hunt, could take a rest. Over the years, La Grande Cascade has changed with the times while maintaining its unique "retro-modern" style. Inside, the gilding, chandeliers and mirrors offer a distinct charm to a residence that has retained its period magnificence.
