The rain started and much of Paris is closed for the holiday. Then, off the street we see Le Recamier. What a positive surprise. Great experience. The Henry IV Soufflé was remarkable, as were the deserts. The wait staff very helpful, with a dry sense...More

Soufflé au fromage was great and sea bass not bad. Services rather random. Waitresses were very friendly and knowledgeable but a waiter was rather rude when he refused to call a taxi for me although it's 11pm on a public holiday and raining!

I was in Paris just two months ago and visited this restauran, again, every single day. It continues to have the best souffle in the world and a wonderful place to eat. Will repeat every time I visit.

After dining in many fine restaurants throughout Paris where we received warm and welcoming service, we were jolted by the rudeness of the staff at this restaurant. It is difficult to understand why a chef/restauranteur would choose to be represented by dismissive and unwelcoming employees....More

We had reservations and asked to be seated outside. We were seated immediately upon our arrival in a very pretty area surrounded by plants. It took quite awhile before anybody came by to take our order. We initially ordered drinks and a first course thinking...More

This restaurant offers, in addition to traditional French dishes, a range of appetizer, dinner and even dessert souffles all of which were just excellent. Our experience there, however, was marred by indifferent and careless service. After being seated, we were forgotten and after an inordinate...More

Arrived at opening time since we did not have a reservation. We were welcomed and quickly seated outdoors. The soufflés were outstanding. I ordered the goat cheese with cherry coulis. Divine. My husband ordered the cheese soufflé and it was good also. Mine was better....More

I don't believe there are any big holidays in August and I don't know when the staff have their vacation. This restaurant however, is usually open all year long. Sorry, cannot be more helpful.
