Had a lovely meal here, onion soup the rump steak really tasty and well cooked, with tarte tatin to finish. House wine by the carafe good value, and with 3 course menu at 21 euro a stones throw from nôtre dame there were no complaints

This is an enchanting little restaurant with covered outdoor seating, with heaters, lit by dangling strings of fairy lights. The 21 euro set menu is lovely - we had French onion soup, thick cut rump steak and creme brûlée. Delicious and at that price you...More

My wife and I do not eat either large or rich meals. (I know; I know. Why go to Paris?) While France is famous for food we go for art, architecture, and history. So this little cottage at the end of the ile was perfect...More

We stopped here while visiting the Notre Dame as a lot of restaurants close after lunch and we wanted to eat in the afternoon. The waiter and waitress were very friendly and both spoke English. We were sat outside under the canopy area, it was...More

One of the worst food experiences in Paris, and France as a whole. Food quality from soup and onwards is very poor. A colossal waste of time and money. Quite expensive, with no redeeming features.

We had the formula lunch today and had quite a few different dishes between the four of us. Service to first course was over 30 minutes from order and then the courses came very fast. Coq au vin had no flavour . Everything very average....More

We went for dinner and the duck confit was well worth it. I was disappointed with the escargot (no real flavor) and the french onion soup as the broth was nearly clear but the flavor and presentation of the duck confit made me forget about...More

We walked past here on a lunch time and it was packed with everyone eating mussels and we knew we had to come back and try it. Most expensive place we found in Paris for a drink and the mussels were mediocre. The staff seemed...More

Fun, bustling restaurant with many tables out front in the summer and ideal to watch the world go by. Close to the Seine with views across to Notre Dame. The staff are efficient, finding you a table and looking after you. The food is good...More

Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,
