People are not gentle in this place, to be mild. In fact, they have been talking in French among themselves insulting us (degueulasse) just because we dared asking twice for some more bread. The little island is fantastic, but there are better places for getting just the typical bistrot food. Nothing to write home about.

Friends recommend this intimate restaurant on the I'Ile st Louis and they were absolutely on target. The food was first class (try the 39 Euro four course meal). The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere perfectly appropriate The Metro stop is Port Marie on Line 7. Worth the effort. Don't miss this one.

The setting is authentically Paris. They have a wonder pre fixe with 4 courses including a great cheese plate. The snails were excellent. as was the steak. Fresh made desserts including a creme Carmel and mousse. Service was 5 stars. You should make a reservation, but even without one, they will do their best to accommodate you.

What a fabulous restaurant. We went here during our long weekend stay on the Ile St Louis. We were not disappointed. The food was gorgeous, the service was awesome. The restaurant is also a feast for the eyes. The staff were charming. We highly recommend booking as the evening we were there was very busy and we wouldn't be surprised... More

We tried menu with price €39 for a person. I can say that it was my lovely restaurant during four days of our journey! Nice vine, perfect service!

Beautiful place with great atmosphere and terrific service. Great drinks and wine selection. Food was delicious, particularly the duck confit and the pain perdu. Would recommend to friends and plan to return.

The experience is resumed to an elegant dinner, professional service in a nice French atmosphere. It was perfect for a small group of tourists after a heavy day of travelling through the city. In terms of food, I chose a menu, my choice for the main course being "Boeuf Bourguignon facon grand-mere" which was not really on my taste, but... More

My husband and I had dined here many years ago, and decided to revisit. The appetizers - tarte fine of roasted vegetables, feuillete de Rocquefort - were nice but no more; the steak with 3 sauces was good but no more. The Tarte Tatin was unacceptable, and I returned it, a first for me: instead of a crisp flake bottom,... More

Everything about this restaurant's ambience was beautiful. The decor, the table settings even it's corner location with big windows. Unfortunately, that's as good as it got. Prices were high, quality of food below average and it was a real disappointment. Beef bourgannion was mediocre...Overcooked and overpriced...If this were the last restaurant in l'lle St.Louis I would have to think twice before... More

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
