Our tour guide steevecalvo@easy-dream.com recommended L'Epi Dupin for our last night in Paris. It was wonderful, we had the 6 course tasting menu and loved every dish. The service was great, they helped translate to English and were very accommodating since we didn't want any fish. Definitely a great restaurant in the St Germain area. Would highly recommend, make a... More

Atmosphere and vibe were quite good, food not as good as expected. Heard great things...but honestly nothing special. The first plate and dessert better than main. Nothing is sadder than a rubbery scallop in Paris. Would not go back

My wife and I enjoyed a 5 course tasting menu for €52 per person. Each course was excellent and had both beautiful presentation and delicious flavour. Service was excellent, the wine selection was decent and reasonable by Paris standards. We sat at the bar and it was just a fabulous meal. 5 star all the way

I visited for dinner with my daughter. The Chef started us with an amuse buche of gingered carrot soup and delicious crusty bread. The menu is fixed price three courses for around 38 euro. Started of vegetable tart was very good. My daughter loved the veal and risotto. My beef was very favorable, but a bit dry. Dessert was fabulous--creme... More

What an amazing experience it was! The beef i ordered is the best beef i have tasted in a while (and coming from an argentine, that's a pretty big deal to me). I totally recommend it to anyone that enjoys eating good food. The price was very reasonable: €39 for a menu containing an entree, main dish and dessert, with... More

I had a dinner here for the first night in Paris. The restaurant is small but very cozy and lively.Fixed menu was reasonably priced but they had several dishes to chose from . The waiter translated menu well in English and I was very happy with my choice.Great wine list as well.

I was a bit nervous reading negative recent reviews but went because a local friend recommended it highly. While there is no English menu, the staff conversed easily in English and reviewed the options and were patient. We had a nice table in the front corner was it wasn't loud or too crowded. The menu was price fix but plenty... More

The cooking at this restaurant was certainly good, as was the service. The problem is that there is no English menu. The server interpreted for us but unless you have a photographic memory you won't recall everything and you may order something that would not have been your first preference. It is a price fix minimum 3 course. Which is... More

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
