They catered well for our large business group and managed to have a friendly service as well as efficiently bringing our food and wine. My starter (soup) was a bit ordinary, but my main course of lamb was utterly fabulous. Not sure on value for money as I wasn't paying!

You will always get a warm welcome, and a great selection of wine. The manager is wonderful and the whole team very well trained. The tartar, the cheese and the other classics are good options to go for.

L'Ecluse was recommended by the concierge at the Westin Vendome. It was within walking distance and we were looking for a wine and cheese bistro. We were seated right away and the staff was quick and helpful. We had a cheese plate and our server suggested a wonderful bottle of wine. We almost went back a few nights later.

This is a small place with a large heart. It has great food and a wonderful selection of wines including grand crus by the glass. Even better, the staff and management are truly engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. In particular, William our server, knew every detail of every wine and menu item and guided us to some wonderful selections.

I eat here regularly as it's convenient. The wine's are very good and the service is excellent. It's also a nice place to sit and watch the world go by. Why only a rating of 3? Well I don't eat meat so I am reviewing it from that perspective. The couscous dish for vegetarians is ok, there are other options... More

The restaurant seems to be able to cook better than it looks. I had a lamb confit which was over-cooked with very tough meat.

Hoped to find a cheaper place off the main drag for lunch. The six of us looked at the menu outside and decided to try it out. Greeted with a friendly Bonjour/Hello! Other diners were clearly on their business lunch. Tasty menu specials and traditional options. Mid-range prices. Loved the citrus flavored sorbets.

My wife and I went to this restaurant as part of our honeymoon in Paris. While the service and wine was excellent, the food was some of the worst I have attempted to consume. We just so happened to be seated by the kitchen where we watched a man take pre made food out of a fridge and microwave it... More

Had the steak tartare and lamb confit - both presented well and decent sized portions: simple and delicious. Excellent service particularly with regard to suggesting wine pairings with the food. Finished up with some Armagnac and chocolate cake on the house, happy days.
