Out of this world experience with the main dishes. The lunch menu is worth it - lets you try the signature dishes at an affordable price.
Decor, service, and desserts (the tomates confites and the millefeuille) where not the highlight.
This was an amazing place to dine! And it was exquisite …. one of the best meals we ever have enjoyed. Three of us had the winter vegetable tasting menu. Every course (all eleven of them) was wonderful. These vegetables were, perhaps, the best I...had every tasted. Each course was delightfully presented, uniquely tasty, and left you waiting in anticipation of the next course. It was mouthwatering approaches and combinations such as vegetable sushi, celery and pears, lasagna with rutabaga and black olives, or potatoes with black truffles. These fabulous tastes were very nicely complimented with the wine pairing, which we would also highly recommend.
The service was flawless and was as good as the food. The chef was an enjoyable pleasure as he chatted with the diners at each table.
Great food and great service. It is easy to highly recommend Arpere.More
Arrived soaking wet from a rain storm and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We went for the Gardeners Menu which was superb and not totally vegetables based. We were also offered an additional dish where we went for the lobster. Please be aware...that this is an additional charge to the Gardeners Menu. The lobster was magnificent but Gardeners Menu would have been sufficient for a superb lunch. Great atmosphere and definitely worth knocking off your list of the great restaurants to visit.More
I've been to a lot of 3 and 2 star joints. Passard is hero of my hero David Kinch of Manresa. So I was very hopeful but trying to keep my expectations in check. But the whole experience was so beautiful and moving. Sharing the...Jardin and Mer et Ter tasting menus is the way to go. They are both incredible and completely different. If I had to choose, it would be the jardin menu. The beet tartare was one of the best dishes of my life. There are no preset wine pairings. I asked the som to suggest a 3-4 glass arc for the meal and it was fantastic. I just told her how much I wanted to spend to give her some constraints. Perfection. Our main server Arthur is extremely passionate, knowledgeable and extremely good at his job, matching the energy of each table. He will interact with you in french or english or spanish! Amazing service and one of the best meals of my life. Thank you Arpege.More
they don't like vegetables in france, but he grows his own in normandy,so he serves these massive plates of perfectly cooked vegetables and beautifully fish,it's amasing food!!! enjoy!!!....................''i like to have a nice montrachet white, that's my preferred grape''................lol
L'Arpege is the 38th three michelin start restaurant that I have visited and faced with a Euro 480 meat and vegetable set menu, had a lot to live up to.
Thankfully, I felt that the overall experience justified the price tag. Vegetables were elevated to...equal importance with the meat or fish they were paired with. A number of the fully vegetarian dishes were superb and the lack of fish/animal protein in those dishes was inconsequential.
Although this was an 11 course tasting menu, some of the courses were the same size as a la carte portions at many other restaurants. My advice would be to arrive with a good appetite and not to fill up on bread.
I enjoyed every one of my 11 courses, save for a millefeuille, but to be honest, I can't recall any millefeuille that I have enjoyed so this is probably personal taste.
I would rate this in my top 5 dining experiences and in my top 3 French meals. I plan on returning to L'Arpege at the next opportunity.More
Amazing dining experience! Dinner at L’Arpege was an event! The food was delicious, the service was over the top good and the chef greeted every table. This is a must visit. An unforgettable experience!
The price of our meals was worth it! The history of the restaurant and the ability for Chef Passard to continue to be dedicated is quite amazing. He also came by to each table to greet us and make sure we enjoyed our courses. And...the food was just phenomenal. What really impressed us were the amount of courses that were vegetarian, not just for my wife who had ordered fixed vegetarian menu. In fact I had the regular fixed menu and quite a bit of the courses were vegetarian and my wife was able to try some of them as well. The wait staff were of course very helpful. They made our night even more enjoyable. Overall just a great dining experience that we will always cherish.More
Had high hopes for the place but was disappointed to be honest. I went for the a la carte so there might be dishes that i haven’t tried that would’ve blown me away. Stand out was the lobster dish which was really delicious but the...other dishes were quite unmemorable. I was sat downstairs in a cave like area that was a little claustrophobic. But it could be that the lighting was too bright. If it was slightly more of a warm light i think the setting would actually be quite nice and romantic.More

Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and
politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.

There was a Veggie tasting menu but it was the same price as dinner. You need to check when you make the reservation what menus will be offered for lunch. We did the veggie and dinner tasting menus for lunch and one did a la carte. Mostly wonderful food, but some not great at all. Worst part is you are paying a fortune and the service is cold and very inefficient. The only nice person was the chef Alain Passard when he came to the tables.
