The tasting menu incorporates the chef's home-grown vegetables on his farm. The experience is exquisite. Every plate is artfully displaced. And the taste divine. It seems like there were a hundred courses. Service was attentive to start and then all of a sudden, aloof and inattentive. The first 5 courses were evenly spaced and timed beautifully. Each course was described... More

Just an amazing restaurant. Great service without being stuffy, Marc Antoine and both Som did a great job, surprising tasting menu, chef came say hi during the meal, we were late but they took great care of us. An overall great experience!

Even several months later, it pains me to have to think about our experience at Arpege. I went with my partner and his parents during our 2 week stay in Paris. My partner and I have dined at many excellent restaurants and expect a certain level of service and professionalism in addition to excellent food. The food was overall quite... More

Dinning at L'Arpege is an experience, like watching a masterpiece. The fresh farm to table vegetarian dishes were creatively presented and extremely well flavored. Never had such delicious vegetarian dishes. The fish was tender, moist and just melted in my mouth. My taste buds were dancing, my nose was happy, and my eyes were mesmerized. The service was impeccable, the... More

Breathless superlatives don't do justice to the experience we had at L'Arpege. We had dinner there last Bastille Day, and the whole evening was simply incredible. Shortly after being seated, we were warmly greeted by Alain Passard himself, who seemed to take great delight in the fact that we had travelled from Melbourne. The maitre d' was warm and welcoming... The food at L'Arpege was absolutely beautiful. Never had such delicious vegetarian dishes and perhaps because most dishes were vegetarian, I could easily finish the 8-course tasting lunch. I couldn't read the menu and didn't know what they would serve me but I was happily impressed by every dish especially the beetroot sushi. Oh my don't I miss it now... More

We were here for the lunch tasting menu to celebreate a special occassion, and the place didn't fail us. A lot of the food was fantastic, but after reading a lot of the reviews, I was expecting every dish to be a standout one. Some of the dishes, such as the garlic creme brulee, the french 'samosa' and the zucchini... More

I am so surprised to see some less than perfect reviews on here. My experience at L'arpege was wonderful. My husband and I were seated in the corner facing the whole restaurant. From beginning to end their service was impeccable.. each and every person who assisted us during the meal was accommodating and helpful. They didn't have an english menu... More

Came here for lunch with my wife for our anniversary. Lunch is affordable though it still added up to almost 400 euro (including tip) choosing the tasting menu with some champaign, water and two glasses of wine. We like eating in michelin star restaurants now and then, we don't like that it usually takes at least three-four hours So for... More

Alain Passard is just a genius, a meal at l'arpege is a feast that you will always remember from the amazing service to the food. Mostly based on vegetable taste is just a fireworkfor your palate; the beetroot sushi is a killer, the monkey fish taste like lobster answer the rose apple tart is beautiful as delicious.
