A very nice suprise in this tiny restaurant . The sea food was excellent as we would have been by the seaside. Service was swift and discrete . My son had meat , which was very good as well. A very good address in this posh area . Ask to go on the first floor to enjoy an intimate dinner... More

We returned to this restaurant after a good dinner last year. We began with mixed oysters and Petit Friture de Calamars; then Steamed Cod with Hollandaise and vegs and Haddock with cabbage and cumin. The Oysters were very good, the squid good, the fish good, but not great. Then cheesecake and chocolate tart with raspberries. Our wine was a Muscadet.... More

I like this place. The seafood is very fresh and of good quality. We enjoyed some tasty, plump oysters that in hindsight we should have ordered more of. Also ordered fried calamari on the recommendation of the waiter. My mom was not super excited about ordering this but was pleasantly surprised at how good the dish was. It's a dish... More

We have eaten here many times in the last years, and we returned this time to have some fresh oysters. Unfortunately the oyster deliverer didn't make it today so we substituted some calamari and some smoked salmon as our appetizers (which is all we ate at lunch) - both were excellent. The restaurant is very tiny and is normally packed... More

The kitchen was located in its sister restaurant across the street. It was amusing to see how food orders were placed and food was delivered by staff who who had to navigate the streets of Paris. Make no mistake about it, the food is superior. Seafood is the focus

I spent quite some time trying to find this place, having visited it about 5 years ago during my last trip to Paris. But, even after all this time, it was well the effort! The place had only changed in interior decoration of the entrance floor but otherwise, the service, the pleasant staff and the food, is still excellent. The... More

This is a small restaurant across the street from and related to La Fontaine Gaillon, a rather posh restaurant in a 17C townhouse “supervised” by Gérard Depardieu. Our restaurant was tiny, and we ate upstairs, alone at first, then joined by others. We had six oysters each, Fines de Claire No 3, pretty big, then hake and mackerel in mustard... More

Very small place, best you make a reservation. Nothing fancy, just excellent and fresh oysters and langoustines. I had lunch there and enjoyed my oysters so much :-)

This restaurant has a short menue, but every item is amazingly fresh and superb! You will not disapoint. As the restaurant is small, I suggest you book a table in advance. However, the owner is polite and let us in although we didn't book.

Thank Tavi S

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
