Finally, I found again the taste and the spiciness of the Indian food. Almost everything was very good, MUTTON ROGAN JOSH (Spécialité du Chef!) being my favorites. When I mentioned "almost", I refer to Samosa's, who are quite disappointing and the common rice (I tried it only once though) Still, bottom line, a place where I am going certanly to... More

We are on a 3 week vacation in France and have been traveling all over the country. Last day in France tonight and looking for a something other than French food. Ended up at this place on a friend's recommendation and came away very disappointed. Food quality a long way from what you get in "nearby" London. Suggest that guests... More

Great restaurant, easy to find with beautiful decor. The dishes are authentic & beautiful to taste, very unique and delicious. The staff are attentive! Love the ambience & to be surrounded with people enjoying a meal is fabulous!

Worst Indian restaurant that I ever tried. I love Indian food, and learned to appreciate the various dishes. I went to Kirane's last night with an Indian co-worker and mine and she agreed with me - this place is no good. 1. Service - even in Paris standards, the service was horrible. Took them 40min to serve us with drinks... More

I have been visiting this restaurant every year since last 10 years - the food is average at best and the attitude of the owners is very patronising at best and outright arrogant at worst. The positives are proximity to palais des congress and champs élysées There are far better Indian restaurants in Paris

We went there with an indian friend. Food was very good. Right size portion. Spice can be on the side (excellent if you don't handle spicy food). Best is to order dishes to share. Price is reasonable (about 50 euros per person).

You will always get a warm welcome, The host always goes to great detail to explain the dishes if you are not versed in Indian food. If you like it spicy say so otherwise the experience is mild.......to very mild. (Thinking of my British friends here) In all a nice restaurant to get out of the hustle of Paris.

For those missing our on their dal, subzi, chawal and rajma look no further. Kirane's has it all in the middle of Paris. The owners are normally present in the restaurant and enjoy talking with their Indian guests in hindi. A great experience and good service with fair prices.

Unfortunately our experience wasnt good this time around at Kirane's. We had returned for the 2nd time as the first time the food was OK. What really ticked us off was this... we complained that there was absolutely no Salt in the Daal that we ordered. The server said "That is why we put Salt & Pepper on the table".... More

Kirane Restaurant in Paris between l’Etoile and Porte Maillot has the estimable Kirane at its heart, a warm and dedicated restauranteuse who has brought the delicate spicing of her native Punjab to the capital. The restaurant is stylish and elegant, with creamy walls, authentically embroidered banquettes, benign statuary and rare wooden carvings. The menu features Punjabi dishes inspired by the recipes of Kirane’s own mother and grandmother using secret combinations of flavours that have earned Kirane the soubriquet Mistress of Spices. Dishes include tikkas, jalfrezis, masalas, biryanism and kormas in Discover and Tradition menus. The set menus at lunch and supper are excellent value.
