Beef bourguignon is amazingly good. Must pick! However, the service is horrible, maybe because I am not local. Still, felt bad being treated rudely and unprofessionally. Be careful.

While super booked for dinners, it is a lot easier to get in For the same great food over a leisurely lunch where you can meet and talk to the chef owner and praise his world’s best boeuf bourguignon. Be sure to generously spoon the...More

Wife and I were only Americans here for lunch 1 pm on a Wednesday. Concierge at Four Seasons made reservation. Maybe 12 tables total. Had house Pate and confit canard. Wife had sweetbreads that were best either of us have ever had. Service was with...More

Perhaps this place was once the spot to be but it now is tired, dirty & not worth the visit. Service was very poor. Too many bookings and not enough staff. Took us quiet a while to get our order placed and we waited too...More

Please order the Boeuf Bourguignon. It is so tasty and literally melts in your mouth. You will not leave a single morsel. Also make certain to order the Grand Marnier Soufflé. Definitely shareable, but you might just want your own. We let the manager choose...More

This place was recommended to me for its boeuf bourguignon. I arrived shortly before closing but the staff was accommodating. I was given pea soup and I ordered boeuf bourguignon aux tagliatelles and millefeuille Jean-Louis. The boeuf bourguignon was fine, if a bit underwhelming. The...More

Visited Chez Dumonet in January 2017, and again in September 2018. Reserved by phone about 4 days before. Absolutely nothing available for 2 days, on the 3rd and 4th there were tables at 9:30 (which is actually fine since few French eat before 8 or...More

Hard to really review as didn't stay. Have dined here before, but not for a few years, always had a lovely time. Because of reservation policy as referenced in other reviews had the hotel make reservation well in advance. Arrived a couple of minutes early...More

We found this restaurant expensive and too tailored to the very many American tourists. Food came out too quickly, obviously all the food, bar the souffle, reheated. Huge mark uo on wines as well. Obviously foreigners like us were all seated inside which was very...More

The steak and grand marinier souffle are definitely the stars of the night at our table. We also had a very nice tomato salad and I had the beef bourignon, but the steak was cooked and cut perfectly, a true beauty on the plate. The...More

I used a Visa, so I am not positive - but I doubt that they accept American Express. There is a Trip Advisor review from 2015 stating that they don't - and I doubt that has changed.
