We were looking for somewhere to eat and met Mde on the front step, she warmly welcomed us. The menu is relatively simple with 4 or 5 choices for each course. Everything was high quality and tasty, service was excellent and the wide choice of beers unexpected (Mde explained the chef is from Belgium). The only criticism and is not... More

Even though it was a set menu the quality and speed of service for a group of 10 plus was excellent. Friendly staff and a nice environment which was not too noisy so guests can talk to each other

We had some nice food in this very busy restaurant. The fish with asparagus dish to start was particularly good as was one of our mains, the beef cheek, but the fish stew was rather watery and bland. We did not really enjoy the experience though. It felt soulless and though service was efficient, there was no charm or friendliness.... More

Lovely atmosphere in a 1940-1950 retro decor. Very attentive and professional service. The food was excellent. A little "out of the box" with some deserts witch were also very good. I recommend reservations. We were lucky to have a table on a Wednesday night....the restaurant was full.

Very good restaurant serving northern French and Belgian specialties. Some old fashioned dishes served traditional style, other revamped in a more modern jacket. I enjoy the difference in flavor compared to the many mediocre restaurants in Paris. High quality products, excellent menu at 35eur and good selection of beers and wines to go with the meal. I'd recommend beer paring... More

My wife and I dined here on Saturday, September 19, having dined here once before on a previous visit to Paris a year earlier. If I had to capture the essence of this restaurant in as few words as possible I would characterize it as traditional, reliable, modest, and unambitious. The ambiance and atmosphere is intimately warm and inviting if... More

I had dinner here with colleagues, and it's always nice to be able to sample some great French food while in Paris. I'd say this place is fancy, perhaps even 'gastronomic,' though it doesn't necessarily have the price tag to match. They have a menu option for 36 euros that includes a starter, main course, and dessert, and that seemed... More

We went for lunch since all dinner bookings for the week were taken. Service was excellent and both the meals and deserts were very good. I had a Waterzooi de la mer aux crevettes and my wife had Filet de Dorade. Both dishes were well prepared and flavorful. The cheese plate for desert was a nice option.
