In 2015, the title of my review was 'one of my favourite places in the world'. We visited again recently and we really noticed a marked change in service. What a shame. Views, of course, are still stunning. We took a friend there who had not been before and we were all looking forward to a rare 'foodie' experience. We... More

The views from this restaurant are amazing!!! We had the foie gras and mushroom ravioli with truffle cream sauce. Outstanding. You can also dine simply on a hamburger if you choose. It is worth the trip up.

another restaurant from the Coste group; After testing the Cafe Marly, the L'avenue, here is Le Georges...same style of food, same expensive prices, same wine card, and same...Pompous and arrogant staff... I had a very simple Penne pasta with tomato sauce, no cheese that costs me 20 euro!, well...the view was stunning!

Amazing view combined with good quality of food. The staff is friendly. I'd definitely recommend it especially at the sunset for a glass of bubbles

We went here following some friends' suggestions on a Saturday night in Paris. The view is amazing, really terrific. The rest... average. Waiters are not very professional, a little bit snob. There was not enough light to read the menu, therefore we used our iphone and saw that other people did the same. Food was average. My sister asked for... More

On the roof of Pompidou with amazing view. If the weather is good it would be wonderful to sit outdoor. Tonight it's too windy and a bit cold! Food are average. It's a place for tourists and business so don't expect food is very delicate and fine! Waiters are humorous but not very professional! Food comes quite slow, waiting at... More

Go see an exhibit at the Centre George Pompidou, then wine and dine at Le George. The food is good, but the view and ambience is spectacular.

When trying to locate the resto I found an industrial looking building. It threw me off. Compared to Toronto restaurants that are on roof tops I was wondering how the views would be. Take a look at the photos I posted...great views of Paris. Now to the food and service. Great service (we were a group of 20+) and the... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
