A brilliant spot, looking out onto a road that gives a perfect slice of Parisian life. The waiter was really friendly and the food was absolutely excellent. Very tasty and reasonably priced.
We came across this beautiful place at night and we loved it! We only had a few drinks and a fantastic carrot cake, but the menu is very interesting. The ambience and the staff were amazing and so professional, we totally recommend!!!!!!
We looked onto this cafe from our bedroom and the tables on the street were usually busy. We sat indoors and were attended to by a very friendly and helpful waiter. We had had our evening meal elsewhere but finished it off with a cafe...gourmand and a cognac / beer. The atmosphere was relaxing and happy.More
My hotel is nearby so I ate twice here, the falafel bowl for lunch and then the salade grand-mère for dinner. Excellent service! Everyone is so nice and once they saw my scared face when speaking fast french, switch automatically to english. Good food, good...wine, fast service and great people!More
I came hungry and wanted to order the big breakfast offer with granola. First it took a while until the service arrived, fair enough, it was a busy Saturday morning. What came was a fresh pressed juice which wasn’t too bad, a bitter cappuccino and...a „granola“ which was dry oats, yoghurt and 3 pieces of kiwi and pomegranate. The two waiters didn’t let me know that the breakfast offer was already over, after asking if I could at least have some honey for the dry granola nothing happened(before the granola arrived in a small waterglass, after asking if that’s the big granola they got me a new one, the same amount only in a taller glass..maybe they think their customers are stupid???!!). I was treated very unpolite as I never experienced ever in a restaurant. The waitress explained me that it was my fault if I can’t read the card properly. When the bill came I just saw that i didn’t get the breakfast offer, I had to pay everything separately. As the honey never came I couldn’t eat the „granola“ so I left the restaurant hungry and highly disappointed, sad and angry. That’s not what I know from restaurants parisiennes. Bad job, Bad offer!!!! But nice venue though.More
Great cafe/bar. They serve interesting options for an hot meal and in a quite quick manner, thus allowing you to have a proper lunch break at almost the right cost. Good attentions to details when preparing the dishes. My brochette was probably a couple of...euros above the expectations, but overall I was in Paris, eating in and served via a waiter.More
Fabulous service, lovely atmosphere and ideally located for our hostel. Food also good, perfect after a long day of sightseeing.
Loved this cafe. Ate here 3 times and except for a disappointing chicken burger the food was good. The staff are exceptionally friend and it is a very lively spot. Its nice for breakfast too on a sunny morning. A credit to Paris and its...grwat people.More
Popped in starving after a long day of sightseeing. Food was amazing, service was great, helped decipher the menu for non-English speakers. The music an atmosphere were fun. Went on a Monday and the place was packed and lively!
Really a nice place to have dinner in this part of Paris ! Food was very good and reasonnably priced . The place offers indoor and outdoor seating , but these might not be available , as this place is very lively with many (mostly...young) customers ! Quite easy to connect with other customers at this venue ...!More
After an overnight train journey from Milan we were exhausted and hungry and in need of somewhere to perch until our accommodation was ready for check in. I have gluten intolerance so finding somewhere that provides a nutritious meal in a new country can be...problematic. Thankfully we literally stumbled across La Belle Equipe and the staff welcomed us warmly in English and assured us that 'sans gluten' was not a problem at all. We all opted for baked eggs with lentils and vegetables which were accompanied by potatoes with tzatiki. It was so delicious that not a morsel was left on our plates. Washed down with coffee, it was a wonderful introduction to the food in the 11th and Paris.More
I love this touching little local café restaurant. Its scarred terrace on rue de Charonne and Faidherbe corner. A plane tree on the pavement. Here you find friendly atmosphere. Attentive staff. Typical bistro decor mixed with trendy original design. Medley also in the plates. Simple...meals like fish and chips, chicken brochettes with peanut sauce, BBQ ribs or cheese platter. More elaborate daily specials like duck magret with braised endives or shrimp risotto with asparagus. A glass of Chablis or Saint Joseph. The good life.More
This restaurant is frequented by the locals and it is always busy. We would go for dinner a bit early to ensure we had a great table. The service was always great and friendly. We had many conversations with our server. There is a happy...hour that we took advantage of each night. We had the bavette one night and shared a charcuterie and cheese plate another night. The charcuterie and cheese plate was an appetizer but perfect for a smaller meal. Of course, you must have coffee and dessert. I usually have the cafe gourmand. Prices are reasonable. Go to this restaurant for dinner and stay for drinks! It is always fun.More
Arrived during happy hour which was great. The staff were very helpful explaining the menu in English and making jokes. Fun night! Great Atmosphere! 😀
