This was our third visit to this gem on Rue du Seine and once again it did not disappoint. Scallop carpaccio , beautiful hake, fregola, caramelised orange tart all super. Service as good as ever.

I last reviewed this establishment twelve months ago and my views have not changed. It is one of our favourite places to eat on the left bank. The food is fresh, well cooked and lovely. The drinks menu offers a reasonable choice. The atmosphere is...pleasant and intimate (it's quite a small place), the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient and the prices are reasonable. We had terrine starter, fregola Sarda, red tuna, deserts, one cocktail and a carafe of wine - price 134 Euros. No complaints.More
Had a really delicious and fun dinner at the bar on a Saturday night. Food excellent. Bartender was fun and made great wine pairing recommendations. Other friendly and interesting people eating at the bar.
This is a busy little restaurant with a lively atmosphere. The atmosphere is laid back and the food delicious and beautifully presented with some really interesting flavours and textures. The staff are super busy, but manage to keep everything flowing beautifully. Thank you for a...thoroughly enjoyable and memorable evening - for all the right reasons!More
Great little restaurant with excellent food and service. But the bread was the best part! One of our party is both gluten and dairy free and they were able to accommodate here requirements. We all ordered different meals and they were all excellent.
Great service and varied menu in this somewhat small restaurant in Paris. Corn and cinnamon soup was bursting with flavor. The tuna tartare was fresh and well prepared. Others had the roasted chicken with seasonal vegetables and gave positive reviews. Seating is a little tight...so be prepared to be a little close to the next table. Enjoyable nonetheless.More
Expertly prepared real food. Fresh ingredients with care taken in each dish. The Swordfish was cooked just enough to stay tender. The chicken roasted and served with an herby vegetable purée. The plum clafoutis with its faint boozy flavour was a delightful finish.
We booked Fish La Boissonnerie for dinner one night because it was close to our hotel, got great reviews, and the online food photos looked really good and really French. ;) We had a wonderful time. Cozy comfortable ambiance with a nice energy, lots of...fantastic (free) bread, lots of fantastic (free) cold water (we were super thirsty from walking around in the hot sun all day, but our server took it in stride and kept the water coming!), friendly and attentive service, great wine, and an excellent dinner featuring seasonal ingredients: we had gazpacho and a pâté for appetizers, cod with seasonal vegetables and a vegetarian eggplant dish for mains, and some cheeses for dessert. It was the kind of place where you feel very satisfied and wish you could come back when different foods are in season so you can taste what the chef cooks up! We would heartily recommend Fish La Boissonnerie for a relaxing, fun and excellent meal.More
We had our first dinner in Paris here and it did not disappoint. I can see why there are such great reviews. I'm not really a fan of feta, but decided to order the creamy feta appetizer. All I can say is I wanted more....The feta was fresh and melt in your mouth yummy. I ordered the cod entree which was flavorful. My mom and friend also enjoyed their entrees. It is certainly a place to catch up with friends, have a good meal and relax. Not really touristy which was nice. You felt like a local. Even though I did not have the bread, I love the fact that they get their bread from a place across the street. What a lovely partnership. The staff was amazing as well. Next time I'm in Paris I'm coming back for dinner.More
This is a small but comfortable local restaurant with food that was well chosen perfectly cooked. Everything we ate was delicious
Excellent food with local produce, great service and convivial atmosphere in the lovely St Germain. Better to make a reservation as the place is usually full!
We went with a group of friends and both the meal and service were impeccable! Hot fresh bread, local ingredients, perfectly cooked vegetables, meat and fish, and imaginative and tasty deserts! Excellent service with servers refilling water and bread basket at the right time with...no prompts. Highly recommend to all!More
Fun, relaxed restaurant in St Germain. The name is a word game on Poisson (fish) and boire (drinking)! Excellent food (not just fish) and service. This restaurant is owned by the same people as Semilla (more upscale) and Freddy's (tapas style) all on rue de...Seine. A fun and great neighbourhood with loads of.. not very good restaurants. The three mentioned here are a notorious exception which is why reservations are a must at both La Boissonnerie and Semilla.( Freddy's does not take reservations).More
We ate twice here this trip. It is an unpretentious, atmospheric and deservedly popular place very near the ever vibrant Rue de Buci. The menu tends to have about five starters, five mains and a small selection of deserts. Basically, they make what you eat...and thus far it has not disappointed. Run by an engaging and efficient staff (English spoken). It's probably safer to book but if you arrive early you may be lucky. I don't agree with the review that suggests it is more of a bar scene than a restaurant. It is quite small and like many bistros has a bar counter where late comers might also get a place to eat. That's not a bar. Food is great: prices are reasonable; staff are friendly: go and enjoy.More
This place is more of a bar than a restaurant. Just a few tables off to the side for dining, and the one next to us was filled with people drinking. The food seemed more of an afterthought. Their menu had about five offerings for...mains, so my husband ordered duck and I ordered fish. He liked the duck, but my fish was quite chewy and seemed undercooked. The servers were nice. We split a dessert (a citrusy sorbet recommendation), and neither of us liked it. There are many other good restaurants in Paris with better food at a better price.More
